And I admire you for doing so much for Rimworld, whenever I find a good mod it's always you who
breathes a new chance into their old versions , a new chance to shine.
None can rival your dedication, hard work and time spent towards Rimworld.
It will be a relief to play a new game without the modern weapons and op mods. Going full medieval :)

@Chromium Industrial removes industrial and higher so no need for the spacer mod or this (unless you also want to remove all vanilla primitive weapons)

Can I use it with the Remove spacer stuff or the industrial is enough to get rid of spacer things too?(Industrial and spacer removal together)(and if I use the industrial removal I don't need this one [No vanilla weapons] at all?

Looking good, however are any mods out there which removes every sort of gun and modern weaponry? Like this mod does but I believe this would also remove bows and crossbows from the medieval mod.

Ahh I understand. It would be great to have an option to bypass grenades as there are no modular variants so they just disappear from the game :-(

Grenades seem to disappear when I have this mod installed? They don't spawn and cannot be built. Using with Modular weapons. No other weapon mods.

I've tested this mod and seems to work fine preventing generated pawns from getting vanilla weapons and their ammo, and they seem to be spawning with concussion grenades too, so if all the other grenades are like this ones, i think that should work pretty well too
I've tested this with just CE and No vanilla weapons on

@Thekiborg Combat Extended uses their own gun-definitions I think, but Ive never used it so I think you are better off asking on their Discord.

How does this mod react with Combat Extended? Will PawnKinds spawn with no guns but ammo for that gun?

Exist a mod that remove the vanilla xenotypes? i change some setting in xenotype spawn mod but their still appears some in events, i will try cherry picker and hope nothing break

Does this have any tech level settings? I'd like to keep neolithic/spacer weapons while removing industrial era guns for use with realistic armoury mods.

Hi,

Would there be a way of allowing Thrumbo Horns to exist with this mod enabled?

Basically, they are dropped when butchering a Thrumbo, but cannot be added to stockpiles, sold to traders, or dropped from inventory if picked up.

They do delete themselves on load I think, but they're far more of a trade good than a weapon.

Well, I just generally would prefer to have vanilla tribal ranged weapons or a replacement for them, but I couldn't find any decent ones. A cherrypicker would be very very good too, but I couldn't find that either. So if there is none, then I am very surprised no one has made a decent vanilla replacement mod for tribes yet.

@CEO There is no way of knowing if a weapon is ”actually” a weapon. They all use the same properties. You can however add my ”No food fights” mod to remove the weapon part of the beer, then this mod will not remove it.
There are mods that adds tribal weapons but if you have very specific needs you can always use the cherrypicker-mod to remove the things you want in detail.

I think that's impossible... Any chance you could exclude the bow? Cause there is literally not a single vanilla-like mod that could replace basic tribal ranged weapons, and not a single mod that could disable just the firearms without the bow.

And I don't really care for the beer, but it's kinda not cool too. Could there be an option to disable the actual firearms that are actually firearms and actual melee weapons that are actually melee weapons?

Or just the bow at least, whatever. It really cripples tribes.

Vanilla weapons still appear in the research tab. It would be great if those references could be removed as well? Perhaps just removing the researchRequired of all vanilla weapon definitions?

@getfreur They either have too high value for their pawns to afford them. Or they do not have weapon tags that the vanilla faction uses. Either way its nothing this mod can do anything about

but i have other weapon mods, that's the problem. i have like 12 of them, but the vanilla factions are rarely using it.
