and the spread on the weapon is pretty un-manageable in terms of hitting or even surpressing targets.
@Gabus - That depends on how much energy is being expelled from the weapon when firing a blaster bolt, feel free to find the energy with a calculation but it will probably be hard to find the volume of the bolt. Considering it's red though, the real life equivalent is likely krypton. Plus having low recoil on a gun like this would be insanely OP when, as I said below, it's designed to be challenging to use if you don't use it as it's intended, which is a mounted suppression weapon. I took inspiration from how Hell Let Loose does their MG42 when originally making it.
@Major Mozzer - Recoil is inconsistently shown in every form of Star Wars media, meaning that there's no real answer. However, Star Wars is in a *galaxy* far far away, not another universe, thus it should abide by the same laws of physics. Obviously it's a movie universe and it doesn't really work like. From a gameplay perspective, the weapon was designed to be like an MG42 to support your team with heavy rapid fire and would require good placement and an understanding of recoil control to use if you don't have it mounted.
@Everyone who reports the red x issue - It's a lua code issue or it has something to do with a change to Gredwitch's base. I'm sure Herm would gladly update the weapon it if someone found a fix
