read the comments history, instead of spamming "nOT WoRkiNg" all the time ...
anyway, it's definitely not a good recommendation, because if you don't have your own custom economy on the server, including despawn items under the flag, this will only ensure that there will be several bases filled with items and others will have totally nothing because of nominal/minimal limits in types and badly set flags (especially count_in_map="1"), and for each item separately, will cause BLOCKING of these limits and then NOT SPAWNING other items in the world for other players - unfortunately this is exactly the problem what Vanilla has for many items.
Only issue with doing that is that other items on the ground in your territory wont get cleaned up, so you would have to either collect it all the drop it outside your territory or put them in a trash can that you can get with some mods and they will get deleted that way. I myself do the latter.
I don't think it's currently possible to do it since each class stores a certain lifetime of item in the world
you can still extend the lifetime for each items via types so that the flag includes the refresh time for the item, but count on them staying under the flag and holding the limits for the next spawn in the world - unfortunately a basic problem of the DayZ economy
unfortunately every functionality has some reasons due to the impact on server performance
for example in SCUM they have solved this problem simply, individual items rot over time until they disappear completely and release the limits and reduce the overall load on the server
If you want to place something in Trader area, then I suggest you to use DayZ Editor + BuilderItems and then Loader instead bcs of lifetime of the items.
In BuilderItems you have everything with "bldr_" prefix, that you can use for this purpose.
And it was noticed that the situation is the same for individual users. For in the absence of conflicts with mods, the situation is different for two players standing next to each other - one works fine and the other has bugs.
In addition, it is not tied to the power of the players, because the tests were carried out both on obsolete and new equipment.
And so, the idea is more than good and useful. I hope that the author will not abandon his work, and will improve.
(Or you just binded mod key to the same key as default "drop item" key).
@MaxCross - you should probably make a FAQ for these repeated comments ;)
Link you just posted seems to be a fix for hologram raycastng that allows to place holograms on top of other items. However, I didn't use standart hologram raycast in my mod - I raycasted manualy. So I still can place items on top of other items.
So on the end, for our community I have to say that this is a great mod as it is currently made.
If you did it, a lot of people would abuse it, in the world you have certain item limits and if people put them like this, for example, in the base (and not only there, there would definitely be a lot of morons who would abuse it, I hope you know the community...), they would also block spawn limits in the world and it would only bring problems to the entire economy on the server by having several bases have these items hanging somewhere on walls and would not spawn anywhere else.
What do we have to set that it works like in the video?
