Eh, this *was* mostly just a way to keep the previous megapatch updated and on git to keep it updated into the future. But, Charlotte merged it into the main mod with the 1.3 update, so this is no longer needed.

I'm not really an art person, and truthfully that's far more of the needed skill; adding a seed yourself thru XML editing really is basically one of the easiest mod-things to do in rimworld, tbh.

I'm changing this to unlisted, as the new version of SeedsPlease has absorbed the patch. This should no longer be necessary!

Updated ReGrowth compatibility (thank you Dizzy Ioeuy!). I'll probably also go through at some point and rebalance a number of things; I don't quite like how 4 item -> 3 seed is so common for many of the Vanilla Expanded and other mod-added foods, but that'll be a fun task given the sheer variety of plants.

Got it and accepted. I can do minor graphics stuff for the mod you have here- especially if I can finally let go of having to constantly edit the mod's errors from the last version.

The Regrowth mod author reformatted all his mods a few months back that broke the seeds patch for the mod, and quite a few had to be adjusted. Also Oskar P. (Vanilla mods) has a sort of bad(?) habit of selecting and then sometimes changing new folder names for his graphical assets rather than sticking to the naming convention and organizational structure already established by Tynan. He also breaks naming conventions of the actual graphics files... grrr.

It makes auto patching a fecking pain in the ass with his mods.

IIRC the Defs_OnDemand files for BOTR contain <defName> contents that required an _ [underscore] after the TF in the name. For example, TFCibarius should be TF_Cibarius.


The graphics I had to make were for grapes in Vanilla Factions Medieval and I think some other other mods missing graphics in the megapatch. If you still require this one, or any others, let me know where to email it, and I'll send em if I have em.

@Dizzy if you made functional fixes for the regrowth modules, you can submit a PR to the git link or send me the files and I'll get it put into this patch.

Most of those Regrowth mods weren't working well with the previous version of this mod either. I had to handcraft that at my end and even create art to match some of the seed packets. Fortunately there's a reasonably good blank bag included in the original seeds (or patch) mod.

Some of the Regrowth modules don't seem to be fully patched anymore, may want to check that.

I usually contact them through Discord. Either the main "unofficial" RimWorld one or the Multiplayer discord should have her in it.

I found Shadow on reddit; their response was that they will come back to it at some point, so I'm 'holding onto it', so to speak, until they do (they're away from modding and didn't have a git repo for the original All-In-One patch, so I kinda had to reupload to add this fix).

I agree it would make sense to integrate this into core SeedsPlease, but I didn't get the sense that Shadow wanted that. I will more than happily give access to the git repo for this patchmod to Charlotte though, if they want it for some reason, but they haven't replied to the discussion on the SeedsPlease modpage. Is there a better place to contact them?

Did the original author abandon their mod? Since I see you uploaded with permission.

I ask because I know Charlotte offered that they include their mod into the main "Seeds Please" through a PR, but the original author wanted to upload their own work instead. However if you're looking to contribute communally, and have the permission to do what you will with those xml patches, perhaps you'd approach Charlotte and include this mod as a PR for the main mod so users can benefit without needing addons. If not, then good to at least see support for the mod.

Yeah, this should be a direct replacement for the All-In-One megapatch currently listed as the required item for the base SeedsPlease. It's literally the same thing, but with A) two minor bugfixes that were driving me insane with Vanilla Extended, B) some unification in text for said mods ("extract X seeds" uniformly instead of some randomly being "extract seeds from X", and C) a github repo so that it's possible to start building a larger megapatch by anyone who cares.

Yes! I love playing with Seeds Please, but it bugs out with so many modded crops. If I had Shadow's SeedsPlease: All-In-One Megapatch" installed, should I replace it with yours instead? Thanks for this. <3
