I think for the monuments requiring totalist ideology maybe replacing the ideology gain with a different benefit. Then making them available to the three primary socialist ideologies (excluding social democrats for simplicity) would be a good way to adapt it slightly more to kaiserredux. Not a requirement though love the extra rp of having monuments to build and maintain.

@MHKAL2225: The idea gotta give fixed ideology drifts though. I could make it give a drift to multiple, but I feel that's more a malus than a bonus cause it will give you drift to ideologies you don't want.

Imo you could generalize the slots more, with Communism being replaced with RadSoc, Tot or Syndie slot; Fascism with NatPops, Democratic for SocCon to SocDems and Non-Aligned for AutDems and PatAut?
It's a bit muddled with how SocDems can be socialists but at least it's more varied

@OctavXD: Kaiserredux got renamed and that broke the dependency. Should be fixed now (may need to resub to this and the main monument mod, if it doesn't update automatically).

couldn't there just be a submod or smth to just remove the ideology requirements or nation of origin or smth like that :P its kinda annoying not being able to have the Capitol and other US buildings as Democratic Pershing NEE or not have the Red Square or other commie buildings in RADSOC Bukharins Russia as an example xd

@Owl: I would add all drifts to the same idea, which would mean all ideologies get the drift. I personally would rather see it as a malus and that's why I didn't do it. And this comp patch is purely for functionality, doing ideas for each ideology exceeds that so I definitely won't do that.

I think if you were to do that for all ideologies, at that point you should just add in the other ideology requirements. Like why is the Reichstag only active if you are Auth dem and Mar lib ONLY. I understand if its tedious and hard to do, 100 percent. Im just saying if you were to do the drift, might as well go the extra mile. But it is your mod at the end of the day.

@ArNiSk: The monuments give ideology drift for a specific ideology. In vanilla that is very unproblematic because there are only 4. If I remove the ideology condition, then you would still get the drift of the specific ideology. I could possibly give drift to all ideologies of the specific group, but I suppose that would still rather be a malus than a bonus.

It's weird that there is Dzierzynski Square in Kharkiv, despite the fact that Bolsheviks didn't have full control of Ukraine in this timeline long enough to build anything.

Also, I'd suggest removing ideology requirements altogether.
It feels to limiting, and I don't see why RadSoc or Syndie, or even Longist America wouldn't build UN HQ, or rebuild the Capitol Hill.

If i remember correctly, this mod makes playing as the Ottomans a little tedious as lots of monuments outside of the starting borders allow Turkey to get their bonus's but not the Ottomans since they have different tags.

@IronWolfGaming101: I chose the ones that were the closest to the vanilla ideologies from my thinking. And I use only one ideology because it's set up like that. For some I could potentially do it with multiple, but that would kinda ruin the modular structure I use. For some it is needed, because they give a drift bonus, and it doesn't make sense to give that for multiple ideologies, as that would rather be punishing than useful.

Why specifically totalists, natpop, soccon and authdem? Should the rest of syndicalist ideologies be part of communist buildings, democratic ideologies included with conservatives and the other non-aligned be with authdem?
