Tested this mod with Nordic Masters in a 1v1 10x, no abilities used and I let the AI charge me while my Unit was in a Shieldwall, the results were very similar: 91-77 worst case remaining men for me and 69-43 worst case remaining for the shattered routing enemy Unit. Same test with vanilla setting decided it already for me 146/51 remining Units in my favor, so sadly the Mod changes the behavior of individual units while in Shieldwall formation and it might be unintentional but is a crucial weakpoint. At least the Unit in shieldwall stays on fresh stamina at the fight but at the cost of stopping power. First line remains completely static for the length of the fight, if not engaged by an enemy Soldier, which means that some men of the first line are fighting while the unengaged stay behind, because they are not really fighting back but rather stay back in formation which is obviously the goal of this mod but not with Rome2's combat system.
