I appreciate the offer, but sadly I have to decline.

due to various happenings in my life I really have no time to work on massive projects, and I still technically work for alligator pit (the SS Revolution development team)

so if I ever found the time to return to massive serious sam projects I would personally feel obligated to resume my work on revolution.

sorry bro.

Aside from the stupid joke, though, awesome map. If it doesn't do this already, you need to put weapon/ammo/health pickups on the spots where items were supposed to go.

Take that banana right there. Yeah, pick it up. Now go throw it at that one guy. Good job, you popped a balloon by hitting his wheel! Wait, what...

Aww, thank you for your time, I knew, that you have to use the revolution packer, but I never was really sure, because all the error mesages. Well, I'll try it. Thank you again!

Once you have all your files added, click the brown box in the top left corner to create the .GRO file, it will typically say it couldn't find any of the weapons, items and power ups in the levels (this is just because those are stored in the main game .GRO files and don't even need to be in your .GRO file, so just click ok on all the messages)

When your .GRO is packed and ready to go, open serious editor, go to the file tab and select upload content to steam and follow the directions it provides.

I hope this helps, and i look forward to playing your maps.

In the Revolution Toolkit there is a program called Revolution Packer.

on Start up you'll need to find the Serious Sam Revolution folder (usually located at "Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Serious Sam Revolution")

After you've found the SSR folder go to the files tab in Revolution Packer and Add your .WLDs and .TBNs (all custom textures, models, music, sounds ect are added automatically)
the .TBNs take awhile to add and typically prompts an error message, just click continue and all should be fine.

Red.Pig, this is a nice map. :) I worked on 2 new maps, and I wanted to upload my first one, but I'm not sure, how it works, I searched for some tut's, found nothing. You can help me? :kungfusam:

COOL MAP!))

KoolJohnKid, you are confused here, this level looks like a deathmatch map while I think you are looking for this map in the single player portion of the game.

The files all work now it was just recently updated, I now have over 100 maps :D

Then the problem is on SSR's end.

if extracting the files from the gro and put them in their respective folders doesn't work then i have no clue what will.

sorry bro.

I own a Windows 7, and when I click on "Computer" in the Start button, it shows me my hard drive (C:).
Red.Pig  [author] 5 May, 2014 @ 4:00pm
I've tested the level on multiple computers both 32 & 64 bit from win xp to win 7.

my best guess would be that the problem is one of two things.

1. you're using vista or win 8 wich i can't test on and there fore can't fix the problem.
2. steam is installed on a hard drive other than C: (this shouldn't be a problem but SSR is still in beta, so it is a possibility)

your best bet to get the level working would be to extract the files from the gro and put them in their respective folders.

Did exactly that. I checked all Custom Levels and Survival Maps in the gmae menu. Nothing pops up. I put the .gro file into SSR folder, and nothing changes.
Red.Pig  [author] 5 May, 2014 @ 1:09pm
to get the map to show up you may have to move the .GRO file to your main SSR folder.

1. open the main SSR folder (on my computer, the SSR folder is located at steamapps\common\Serious Sam Revolution

2. in the SSR folder, there is a folder called Workshop, in that folder is the BlockFort .GRO (on my computer it's called zz2e05189ec09ae52e so i don't know what it will be called on yours)

3. Put the GRO in the main SSR folder.

if that doesn't work, leave a comment and see what i can do.
