I know the link goes to Lux Un Umbra but whenever I tried it in-game it did not look the same, I did it with all the other mods linked too.
I personally play with clouds disabled to save FPS/deal with lag so I didn't notice this myself. But a couple solutions for you:
- Make sure you have the same graphic settings as me (In particular the Shader setting)
- Sounds like its probably caused by the "levels" effect, try turning that off to see if it changes it.
- If the above don't work. You will have to go through each of the effects turned on by the Reshade to see which setting would affect it.
Have noticed on the campaign map that the shadow from clouds affects the UI. For example if I have an army selected and the unit cards are over a spot that a cloud shadow is passing, the shadow superimposes over the unit cards. Not gamebreaking or anything, just annoying
Anyway mate, i really-really apreciate your job!!!! You made some extraordinary things with this game with your mods, designs etc!!!!...
Dunno what to say!!! Congratulations!!!! :)
Small tiny reminder, you do NOT need to subscribe to the mod in order to use it. You just follow the installation instructions and you'll be fine. If you do sub you'll just receive an empty folder (I HAVE to put a folder up in order for me to create this workshop page), it will not affect your game whatsoever but it just isn't needed for you.
Feel free to sub and favorite the mod as it does help spread visibility for the mod and I am very thankful for that, but you all just enjoying yourselves is more than enough for me to be grateful for!
Thanks again and if you have any specific Reshade requests I'm always open to doing more presets in the future for Rome 2 or other Total War titles.
I still think its worth using but it can't be helped unfortunately.
For example your texture pathway should end in something like "SteamLibrary - Steamapps - common - Total War Rome II - reshade-shaders - Textures
Let me know if that helps mate. The newer versions of reshade seem to be having issues finding the correct reshade pathway sometimes.
Btw I enjoy your videos. Enjoy the weekend.
Quite frustrating how these things get rearranged but its out of my control.
Cheers for reaching out mate, I'll comment when I know more.
I've gone ahead and posted several more pics to the gallery to offer more insight into what the preset does.
Thanks very much for the kind words!
As for a modlist, it would depend on the playthrough I'm doing at the time. But generally speaking you want to load gameplay changing mods (Such as turns per year mods) ABOVE DeI in the load order. Graphics mods can go above or below usually.
If you are talking about this Reshade Preset though, you should NOT subscribe to it as that is not how you install it. So it shouldn't be in your load order at all :)
I hope this helped mate, if you have more specific questions please feel free to let me know!
Thanks so much for your hard work!
Thanks!
Love the name by the way :D Reminded me of Barry off the Big Bang Theory lol
Thanks so much mate! I hope you enjoy it :)
