Not to be a spoil sport, but considering that the studio is called Lo-Fi, this old school scanner/copier effect is likely intentional. ;-)

Actually - It is allowed to be tampered with. The only thing would be if he was attempting to re-brand sell and distribute the work as his own. There is no violation here as he is not making a profit off of the logo re-texture. Please read into the laws before putting unnecessary fear into creators.

people edit hotline miami 2's opening logos all the time in custom workshop campaign mods i wouldnt worry about it

Yea i wouldnt be worried about getting sued or some crazy stuff. People make memes out of the EA logo and literally share it all over the internet, they dont get sued obviously.

I made my own version ages ago, for my own use. I agree the original logo looks like it was never cleaned. Why did not I post it for everyone to use? Because that is the LOGO of LO-FI games, it's IP and protected by trade law. This is the one piece of the game files it's illegal to tamper with.
