You have load after info in your about file, but neglected to add the mod dependencies. Please add in dependency flags for Royalty and Ideology . Please add the following to your About file to fix this:

Should be fine, though you'll need to either reform or dev edit your ideology to add the rituals or change the outcome rewards.

@csc001, it's not a perfect solution, but you can use the additional reward outcome to tie getting links to any successful ritual. Hadn't been planning on it, but that's a good call out.

Does the author have any plans to add a single player ritual, as some players often use single player for their games, just a suggestion, no offence intended!

Scrounging together my basic programming skills and Visual Studio
i got the attachable outcome to more or less do what i want it to do.
But some options to change the target and amount gained would still be appreciated.

The Steam notification tells me there was an answer to my post which seems to have been deleted. It was helpful but did not answer my post.

I have a good 40 pawns and have the Psylink outcome attached to the annual winter orgy.
However on a great outcome i get 40 Psylinks now. Thats a bit much.

I want a middle ground, such that a good outcome gives a Level to one random participant.
And a great outcome gives a level to one random participant and an upgrade for each participant
that already has a Psylink.

Is it possible to have another option for this mod?
I want only the target and attendes that already have a Psylink to be able to gain one,
not random people specatating.

FYI Steam was a little weird about the download, it gave me the pre-1.5 version a few times until I unsub/resub a 3rd time and it pushed the 1.5 version. Not your fault, this is just something Steam does sometimes.

Use the psylink ritual without the psylink additional reward option. You can turn it off, set it to a wander joins, whatever, doesn't matter. The ritual will only ever give it to the one pawn, the additional reward gives it to randos.

How about a hardcore mode?
Positive gets one level for the target. Excellent outcome gets a second link for a random attendee. But awful outcome removes a random psylink from target and 1-4 attendees.

Probably a conflict somewhere, but with this active I am unable to use rituals. Clicking the confirm button when starting does nothing.

Generated a few worlds and it looks like it's not quite all of them, but it is way more common than I'd expect. I didn't touch anything related to how often rituals should get picked so no idea why it's doing that.

The pawn will still have the Psylink health effect on their brain, but you don't need to use any neuroformers.

Current version adds at least one "psycic channeling" ritual to every ideology generated by the game. Nothing serious but very odd.

Error should be fixed. I had a partial mod options file in my build. In 1.3 it wouldn't show up on the mod page, but 1.4 picked it up.

heads up this can give psycasts to child participants, which I think is very neat but maybe not what you intended.

@98 Owls I get it. I have a mod conflict somewhere, because in my game I am not able to set a target for the ritual. Pawns will party collectively and that's it. Somewhere in my LO there must be a mod that breaks rituals. Seeing as other users have the same issue, it might be a fairly popular mod. If I find it, I'll report back.

It should be that whomever the 'target' in the ritual is gets the level. If you've got random psycasts as an outcome reward, those can go to anyone involved who isn't a slave or prisoner.

Maybe? I haven't looked into the code for VPE. This hits the code to up your psylink level by 1, if they've changed that then probably not.

@Crimson Lupus huh, so it might be a conflict then. Might try deactivating stuff like alpha memes from vanilla expanded. Might be some overlappign somewhere. Sux either way

@Theron that's even worse :p. I've been raising my ideology "level", as in advancing by having all roles active, and having all statues/artworks, but so far All I can do is perform the ritual and cross fingers that the psylink won't be given to some shmuck colonist, instead of my psy-ops panws. Would still love to have some feedback on the matter...

So I'm likely missing something obvious, but I can't seem to find a way to add a target to the ritual. As in, I'm able to perform the ritual and some random shmuck from my colony will get a psycast... great... He has -80% psychic sensitivity. The mod page states "The new ritual grants a specific pawn a new psylink level on success.", and I've seen a streamer use this mod to achieve just that, so I'm likely the one missing something. I'd appreciate some pointers :)

its a bit op as all my pawns gained psycic abilities after an unforgettable ritual. I'd like it to be capped at 2 or 3 max per ritual
