Ah youll likely have to override the spawning of vanilla ones then youd likely have to code a spawning script that overrides the vanilla one Id advise looking through the files to find something like that copy it change out the wrecks but im no expert in this area and it may not even be possible to stop the vanilla wrecks from appearing. Id advise asking around wreck mods

They are set as wrecks and do appear - it's just vanilla ones also appear and I want to figure out how to not have them appear

Bit of a random question especially for a Pirate Mod but ill help. You should ensure that you have set it up as a mod and have all the wrecks you made set to wreck in the workshop tab in Barotrauma.

I've been working on my own variant of this for thalamuses/thalami with different ships - and I've been having some difficulties with the mission aspect - how do you replace the vanilla wrecks in the mission? I don't want the default ones to spawn but rather ones I have made.

Im working on the Gato right now Jon and what hulls seem to be the issue? The only off thing I see is electrical's hull being a bit off

Aye a lot of em are workshop subs that I've been granted permission to make minor modifications to I'll try to go through them and see what I can remove thanks for notifying me

Don't know if you made the various subs or just Yo-Ho-Ho'd them up but a few notes from having briefly looked at them:

Most of the subs here have a ridiculous number of shadow-casting lights, with many, many cases of all decorative external lights being shadow-casting for no good reason. The lighting of many areas would be better served by adding hullspace lighting, particularly on the subs with several hundred lights.

About half of the subs have neutral ballast settings that are wildly, hilariously off to the point that they probably slam into the sea floor at Mach 2 at the start of a round (slight exaggeration, but point stands).

A couple (may actually only be the Gato) have messed up hullspaces that overlap severely.

Yeah but it's hard to get the exactly same color on several walls and backgrounds due to the fact you can't copy paste

Theres a color option on the walls you can use that to effectively recolor the walls although you might have to trial and error your way to the color you like

Hey, do you know how to recolor walls and backgrounds effectively? i'm trying to make a pirate version of my sub and whenever i try to copy paste the hex color, it's always a dark blue.

Black Lenin it seems that the higher mod takes priority in spawns over the other I personally dont know if I can fix it Id have to look more into the code for that

From testing ive done yes Black Lenin submarines from both mods will spawn if they are active at the same time

I have an exception in the log when enable both mods
"Duplicate mission found with the identifier 'Pirate1' in file 'Mods/Piranha-Pirate/Spawn Coding.xml'! Add <override></override> tags as the parent of the mission definition to allow overriding."
