Is this mod obsolete? I don't think this feature is in-game yet.

I never bothered to update it to 1.4, really, and my Rider license ran out and I can't be bothered to migrate my workflows from Jetbrains to Visual Studio.

I don't imagine there would be much hassle to update between versions, a simple recompile for 1.4 and 1.5 would be sufficient. Source is available on GitHub and the repo is open to PRs.

idk, to be honest. A few months back I've been looking into introducing the pilgrimages feature and the cultural festival, but life got in the way.

I don't think there are any breaking changes between 1.3 and 1.4 for this mod, feel free to test it out yourself and report back.

Any chance you can turn this into a mod that just makes every ideology you take fluid?

That way you can start with a fully developled ideology and it still be fluid...

Maybe try adding in crusading: you raid a faction base and their ideologies get some of your precepts and their people have less certainty.

It's still compatible with the actual vanilla features? because I like the idea of both evolving the ideology myself and getting new precepts from other ideologies.

I've got some of the preacher events work already done, it's just I'm quite busy nowadays and I caught a bad cold recently so I can't continue working on it for now, I'll see if I can get back at it in a week or w/e :)

Hi, I actually haven't played with Ideology, because I'm still into a game I'm playing in 1.2, and also I'm letting the DLC and mods be fleshed out a bit more, and had my eye on this mod. Since the new vanilla fluid ideology concept was released, I was curious what you were doing with the mod, and I'm happy to see you're still planning on continuing. I think both Fluid and Organic changes will work really well together when I get to playing around with Ideology, so I appreciate your hard work! The planned features look wonderful too! Subscribed!

Yes, at least one of your colonists needs a different ideology. How will it get a chance to spread to you if you convert them from-get go? :)

Does it require actual colony members to have other ideologies? The description seemed to imply you just need to encounter other ideologies. If the former is the case, then that's my issue; I pretty much convert everyone that wants to join. (Since even though my ideology is tolerant, like nobody else's is, and it doesn't matter if you're tolerant when everyone else is assholes.)

I am four years into a colony and have not seen the effects of this mod a single time. Is that just bad luck or am I possibly having an incompatibility?

Yeah I plan to develop it a little further than it is right now - turns out fluid ideologies are still a little different than this mod so they fill their own niches :)

I'm working on another mod right now, but I'm planning to jump right back into the development of the next update for this one right after.

I'd love to see this mod continue it's development if you're still motivated to work on it. Much like Tactical Shrubbery is see this mod as both a better alternative that allows for ANY ideology to be fluid, aswell as a way to give the colonists a slight mind of their own.
