I figured that the hole would be a texture of some sort just 'cause how the other games do it, because the star pattern for buried stuff would make sense to be drawn similarly. I was just holding out hope that it was some sort of inverse-hull trick at least for the little ring of dirt around the main hole texture. I was planning on using the pocket-item trees as a stand-in for real trees, so, really anything would be an upgrade, even if they have seams or have to be billboarded toward the camera a little. I'm not super experienced with modeling but taking some creative liberties to fix it up with geo from other parts of the model is fine by me.

Oh cool. I've thought about porting those but hate to disappoint but the hole is not an actual hole, its just a flat texture on a plane that abuses the basically fixed camera in AC:NH so I don't think it'd be very useful. Plants should be fine, though some trees don't have leaves on the back again because you normally can't see that side from the camera's limitations.

My addon uses this one to make collectable bell coins/sacks if they're both installed at the same time. I really appreciate the ports! If you ever get the time, I could really make use of world models like trees / tree stumps / rocks / the hole the shovel makes.

Because its a fun personal challenge and its fun seeing how other creative players use these addons. I also like the idea of allowing others to use game assets in ways that aren't possible by normal means, Nintendo won't ever do this or support their communities in this way so I port this stuff for myself and others benefit.

Not sure why you're immediately comparing this to the much larger FNaF community but alright. I wouldn't even say there's an active development community for AC:NH personally...

another amazing pack! cant wait for all of these models to be ported, specifically ive wanted the trees and stuff ported, not sure if you'll edit the tree model though, i hear the leaves on ac trees arnt modeled all the way around. in the mean time, i can make a rock by making the clay model grey and using prop resizer.

It's been a while since the last addon, thought I'd change up stuff with some more props instead of villagers. I still am very busy with stuff in life with work and stuff so addons likely will still come out slowly.
