I guess your plastic mod will never be compatible with Rimefeller, right? It probably wouldn't make much sense (too much overlap), but I think that's still a bit of a bummer. I think using your mod at first, and then "upgrading" to the Rimefeller stuff for increased oil supply (if you wanted to roleplay as an oil magnate, for example), keeping your production chains (and maybe mixing with some PRF machines), could be fun.
By the way, I think it would be a lot funnier if your smithy would just straight up melt upon first use, if you use inappropriate material to build it. Bring over some DF realism to RW.
