why is it called a pith helmet when it looks to br made of metal instead of pith? wouldn't it be a 'kettle' helmet or 'brodie' helmet corresponding to the medieval or ww1 british design?

Got an adopted version for this mod though it lacks grenade bandoliers and the nonlethal carbine.

Oi Unbelievable? Yuo say it works for 1.4 but I call bullshit on that.

As soon as this mod is removed from my mod list, it's A-Okay

But as soon as it's on there with my mod list, it breaks and removes all of my mods.

So yeah I call bullshit so please friend me to see if I can see what's making it work for you when it's not for me.

The mod works for 1.4 but there are issues with the 'assault respirator' and 'helmet with gasmask' since the VE gas-mask has become redundant and replaced in biotech

I don't currently plan to support CE, however I will look into it in the future.

And thank you Xeonzs, I am still looking into balance, and it seems I overlooked some things. I will be running the numbers to see about fixing them. The combo was before I knew VE had an option for combining equipment, and thinking back, I don't think I set some behaviors. I am also looking into the weapons to fill a bit more of a unique niche, but I am trying to not make them utterly OP or UP to start.

Don't get me wrong btw, it's a wonderful mod (although I personally think the weapons are kinda meh), but I figured I'd provide some constructive critism.

Can the "Helmet with gasmask" combine teh stats please of the helmet and gasmask?
At first glance you'd think it also covers the face cause of the gasmask this mod also introduces, but it only covers the head and ears.

I basically envision the helmet with gasmask do the same as the pith helmet and the assault gasmask, but in the same slot and costing both their costs.

This way people could pick the "set" item that covers the whole head, or either piece if they whana combine it with some other modded item if that makes sense.

Also for the armor, there's a typo, currently you have it written carapase, but it should be written carapace.
I also think the carapace is a bit OP, it's as strong as marine armor, while being significantly cheaper and only taking the middle layer.

I love this mod, but using it with CE gives me the blank main menu bug. Do you plan on releasing a compatibility patch any time soon?

Just a heads up, this Assault Carbine conflicts with guns from other mods that also use the Bullet_AssaultCarbine defname. For example, Thog's guns also has a weapon called the Assault Carbine and it uses the same defname for its bullets which causes one mod to override the other and make it use their bullet properties.

There might be other mods on the workshop that have similarly named bullets for their weapons so the quick solution on the user's end is decide which mod you prefer and load that one after whichever mod it conflicts with. Either that or rename the defname yourself and make sure it's going towards the correct gun.

in your patch for VWE Non-Lethal you seem to be missing a <li> and <operations> before the <value> to go with the </li> and </operations> that are at the end of this patch, but im not exactly sure since I don't know how to make patches myself.

The mod causes the game to not load to main menu. Possibly a parsing error but I didnt find anything at first glance.

Apologies for going a bit dark on this, but I do still have an update planned to this mod.

1: It's not out of the question, but I would like to make more stuff before that
2: The whole idea behind the bandoleer is that it takes up a different slot. This gives it a trade-off between more utility vs armor.

As far as I know they should be able to. There wasn't any special properties I am aware of to do that beyond what I already added. They should be able to spawn on any industrial level soldier.
