https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2599064043 Here is my attempt on a compatibility patch :)

@Vex by now I managed to fix everything (at least everything I noticed haha) but your help surely is appreciated :) I'll add you immediately!

I am a coder, so friend me and ask if you need help.
BonumMonstrum 8 Sep, 2021 @ 2:14pm
I never said that I have a working fix, just I added the habitability from NF to PDs files. It seems like Coffetropie isn't working on a fix anymore, so I'll try to use this patch and build on it.... however, as I stated earlier I'm not a coder :D so... expect it to take quite a while and to not work as intended haha:steamdeadpan:

origins like scavengers and subterran from real space new frontier doesn't work because planets dont get their planetary feautures
Turtle-Gal 29 Aug, 2021 @ 12:57pm
Download this mod first, and then overwrite the common folder with the one in Bonum's

@Vex, @Bonum.
How did you guys get Bonum's fix to work. I created my own mod via the launcher, added the common directory (and subdirectories) and placed the mod at the bottom of my load-order. I can confirm that the check-sum changes, but still have the issue of 0% habitability.

Thank you!!
NoctisTheBogWitch 19 Aug, 2021 @ 1:08pm
Send that to me please!

I have merged the two habitability files (I used the Habitability Reworked Addon from PD but could easily create one for the basemod as well) and also the two identical 01_planetary_deposits and could give them to you, if you are interested. Afterwards generally the habitabillity seems to work. Unfortunately I'm not good enough at coding to understand the whole problem with the deposits and blockers (for example one gaia world spawned with -11 Districts available because of too many blockers). Also some modifiers spawned on strange planets (Jungle Modifier on an arctic world..)

So, if you are still working on a patch let me know. If not, I'll go on and learn coding myself xD
NoctisTheBogWitch 14 Aug, 2021 @ 12:04pm
Ayy uhhh... Theres literally no habitability traits besides vanilla...
Turtle-Gal 11 Aug, 2021 @ 12:03am
Heck yeah. If you get this working, you'll probably end up having your mod on the most subscribed section
Seelenschwarz 10 Aug, 2021 @ 8:55pm
01_species_traits_habitability, is the file to need a rewrite. It would be nice to seperate the storm world in a arctic stormworld (PD) and a oceanic stormworld (NF). Looking forward to get a good working compatible mod.

I do hope that you update the patch soon, because the habitability issue makes the game very unplayable at the moment.
Teamson 6 Aug, 2021 @ 11:54am
Oi thank you so much for lookin into it! this might save all my 35 custom races :D
TTV/COFFENATION  [author] 6 Aug, 2021 @ 11:43am
That problem with habitability is my fault since i completly forgot to integrate it in my mod. Ill make a fix soon, sorry for the inconvenience
TTV/COFFENATION  [author] 6 Aug, 2021 @ 11:36am
Ill look into it and try to fix it, also i suggest you use the irony mod manager since its more up to date instead or paradoxus :)

I might have overlooked that origins file, will see if it needs a change
BonumMonstrum 6 Aug, 2021 @ 9:41am
Yeah I also noticed this incompatibility between both of these mods. It also doesn't matter in which order you load them. So until we find a way to fix it, it's nearly unplayable :rshocked:

Also, you use the old 2.8 common\governments\civics\newfrontiers_origins.txt file in this compatibility mod. I don't know if this is intended?
Turtle-Gal 6 Aug, 2021 @ 3:37am
It looks like it's a problem between RS and PD, not Coffeetropie's patch. I think (emphasis on "think") that something is causing the habitability traits from PD to not have any effect.
Teamson 6 Aug, 2021 @ 1:58am
@Coffeetropie: i use the paradox mod manager from github. I mean i cant say if the mod works - but i have no habitability on most planets (i think its the PD planets) Any idea how to fix this?

i´ve put it in load order, so that your mod takes priority over PD and RS
Eldahmyr 5 Aug, 2021 @ 8:49am
Hello, thank you for your sharing but I still have my concerns, I play twin with continental planet and I have 15% of living on forest planets, the rest seems to be fine but I am thinking of other skill bugs concerning other species which no longer even appear in the choice of planets.
In which file and from which mod should I go to make the updates?
Turtle-Gal 4 Aug, 2021 @ 7:21pm
I think the habitability is a conflict between traits from both PD and RS:NF
TTV/COFFENATION  [author] 4 Aug, 2021 @ 2:53pm
@turtlegal Ill look into it
@Theamson works for me. wich launcher do you use?
Turtle-Gal 4 Aug, 2021 @ 2:09pm
This works great, with only one problem: The planetary preferences for the any non-vanilla planets do nothing, meaning everything has at least 40% habitability, including your homeworld
Teamson 3 Aug, 2021 @ 3:11pm
So i´ve put it above in priority (i dont use vanilly launcher) but this still does not work - did i miss something out?
christophe.poth 3 Aug, 2021 @ 8:52am
Hi again Twith.tv/coffetropie

Thanks for the patch , seems to work well atm,

Just to report that SULFUR WORLDS and AMMONIA WORLD displays a mix of their respective arts from PD and RS NF , only the background layer (with the sky ) of the image does not match with the rest.
Only these two planets seems concerned with the issue.

Thanks a lot for your efforts with the compatibility of these two major mods , i Hope these issue 'wich i found a little immersion breaking) can be fixed .

Thanks a lot

Best regards.
