For some reason I cant start the battle with gelt for his staff. Any idea?
Normally the icon of the Lord appeares but in this case there is no icon and the teleport function is greyed out. I event cant right click the fighting location.

Gotta make their banner distinct from Averland.
It might be lore-friendly but it's very confusing in-game to have two, neighbouring factions of the same race with an almost identical emblem.

you likely have a script break, some other mod's scripts are probably not working. its not because of this mod

Hi, dear author of this great mod.Since 1 and a half week Lord Eldred doesn't appear when playing Solland. Instead I have 2 times Balthasar Gelt - one Gelt for Solland instead of Eldred and one that I can recruit in Altdorf. How is this possible ? It never happend before.

What you did with unit descriptions? I play in russian and they are in english! How i can change it in PFM or else?

Yes, I've got his legendary items equipped: Cloak of Molten Metal, Amulet of Sea Gold, Staff of Volans.

campaign? you mean quests? check gelt for the legendary items, if theyre not there, redownload or resubscribe

I've recruited Balthasar Gelt for Reikland, but I can't start his campaign because I can't move his army to that part of the map (the cursor has an x for 'can't do that'). Anyone else find that?

It's most likely script break, load mixus legend lords in performance mode on a new campaign

@Craving Well, of course not. Gelt is moved back to Altdorf. That is written in the description.

when i load this mod, i cannot pick Gelt in the New Game Page. I used all the mixu LL mod

reinstalled all my mixu mods, and vandy's config. tool; seems my saved profile on the mod config. tool was causing a problem!

Oh, OK, I do have about 200 other mods running!
This glitch however happened when I added about 5 Empire mods including this.
Will do a fresh install with this and mixu, and figure out which new one it was

So, I'm pretty sure it was this mod that caused me BIG problems.
I have Mixu's legendary lords, including all his elector counts.
After I put on this mod, all the elector counts reverted to their original portraits instead of their unique LL ones by Mixu.
I removed this mod and uninstalled Mixu's and reinstalled, and I still cannot get his portraits back.

I have to switch this version of the mod because Gelt wouldn't recruit Eldred in my previous game. However, when I recruit Gelt after constructing the colleges of magic, there is something wrong with all of Gelt's quests. It only spawns the 1st phase of the quest and after have done it, nothing will happen. I also notice that there is no Gelt's picture on the quest UI.

Interesting, currently i believe only reikland can recruit him but i’ll change it so that any empire faction who builds the colleges of magic can recruit him.
My mod doesnt edit the elector count mechanic at all, neither does it edit the runefang pact tech, so its caused by something else, not my mod

Hm, do you get Balthazar Gelt if you confederate with Reikland and build the Altdorf Colleges of Magic, or is it only possible to play as Reikland faction to recruit him. BTW - since using this mod I can't research the rune blade act and get no offer to confederate with Reikland, although Reikland is still a City State.

I'd say it depends on how much they edit the Golden Order faction, though I don't think the two will be incompatible, disregarding the balance. You can try it out, though

Okay, kind of a weird thing. In my current, heavily modded campaign, Gelt refuses to fight the quest battle for the Staff of Volans. The fight spawned, but he can neither teleport there nor engage the fight directy.
And since this mod changes his recruitment, I figured that maybe this has something to do with it. Do you think there could be an issue with the mod somewhere, or with something on my end?

You can’t script the elector position, i believe that is hard coded, or at least requires startpos modding. But, that issue has been fixed. I don’t need to callback the script since Eldred automatically gets the position

You could probably script it instead, from like turn 2 rather than being immediate. But I'm no good when it comes to scripts mate so best to check in the discord. Do you have the details for the Community Modding?

It happens due to the callback command at the end of the script, i could choose to remove that command, but in the case of my Petr von Stolpe mod, you can’t make the remaining Petr an elector count. I believe automatically setting someone as an elector required startpos modding?

The double lords thing is a bit weird....never known this to happen before. Have you asked in the mod community discord?
@Nextjohns - female elector count is Nuln. She is available from Mixu's unlocker and Lords pack.

is it possible in the future make the lord count Eldred upgrade his mount to griffon or pegasus?

Also I have all of Mixu's mods. Eldred appeared for me. If you are having problems with this mod, you are doing something wrong.

@Kil'jaeden - Yes, the old one is not needed now, and as stated i cant do anything regarding the double lords, id recommend just deleting the lord using one of the workshop mods

kil'jaeden it's not a big problem , you have a mod who able to change names lords and heroes , just change the name of one of them and you will two differents lords with the same skill, or considerate the two like a twin !!

Tested this mod. You need to unsub from old mod and sub to only this. I was able start the game with Eldred and things were okay. Only problem is there is a second copy of him wounded. This means you can have two Eldreds. Not a big deal.

Eldred does not show up in the campaign. His picture is there on the faction selection screen but when I load the campaign is not available as a lord. Any idea what the issue might be?

As I understand it, the main difference of two mods is the change of faction leader?
