not sure why but the mod doesnt work at all. no keybinds work, none show up in controls either. does calamity do this maybe?

New update. Now researching craftable items doesn't crash the game, uses alternative recipes and works with demon/crimson altar recipes

Could you add the recipe condition check for the research craftable? For example, fargo mutant's travelling merchant can be craft into pulsebow but required downed all mech boss. But i can quick research it regardless of the progress condition.

@Skyler Also the reason I'm here - to request that the "Research craftable" button includes the altars we can get from mods like Thorium (Grim Pedestal). Love this mod, by the way. Thank you for it.

you should add the ability to research craftables that need crimson alters, like with lui afk and fargos you can craft alters as crafting stations but it doesnt seem to work

Updated the mod. You can now hide that vicious Quick Clean button. As for supporting other mods, I still don't know how it can be done

sorry, i just dont really understand. I have the buttons shown but i dont see anything. i've configured my keybinds and whenever i press them they do nothing. is this an issue on my end?

There is no ui in this mod. The buttons might be hidden in mod config, but they should be shown by default. Keybinds sometimes may not be set up properly on install and have to be set up manually.

I don't know if you still check on this often, but for a way to automatically research items that met the requirement is a great idea to have. Another great idea to have is to have it configurable if you want for the item to be kept, or if the item should be removed.

Can we have a config option to disable the "research craftable" feature? It's nice in theory, but it causes more problems than it solves- namely, it completely nullifies any and all need to have a storage system, and also because the duplication menu is poorly-optimized, using the research-craftable button regularly means your menu gets very laggy very fast and soon enough, it's nigh impossible to search.

i need it to be toggleable seperately to the other buttons because i like all other buttons but if i ever press quick clean i just lose progress kinda

i never ever want to press a clear inventory button in a game where your inventory is full of important buffs and other items

The "research craftable" part of this mod doesn't seem to work with ThoriumMod. I can click the first button (Quick Research) to research the ore, but then everything the ore leads to is ignored: Thorium Bars, Thorium weapons, armor, accessories, etc.

I just tested this with the Upgraded Research mod, and it does work (as long as crafting stations are researched, ALL items that can be crafted using those stations are also researched automatically).

Another thing, can you add "both" Versions of a recipe, like Sawmill can take Lead or iron Bar to be build, but you only allow Iron, same for everything else where its "Any XXX"

similar to XenosTec's problem, could you add a way to have modded crafting tables work with this? I'm using the Weapon Enchantments mod and some of the recipes don't research
Edit: also doesn't work with "Ultimate Potions Mod" potion recipes

When I click on the Quick Research with the craftable thing it just freezes and basically kills my game, I don't know why this is doing this but I'm sure that I'm probably doing something wrong, maybe someone can help me out?

Could you add support for modded crafting stations like the ones from calamity for the Research Craftable function? maybe too when you stand near an demon alter that you can research all the recipes that needs it too?

Versions 2.0 and 2.1 contain major improvements to this mod. Though they are only available for terraria 1.4.4

Is there a way to move the button under the inventory space? I'm playing with two other mods that also have a button right there, so it's a toss up which one I press at any given mouse click.

Any chance to let the quick research button show up/be used with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2823762874 (power menu everywhere) since currently it's only showing up on proper journey worlds/characters. Loving your mod regardless, takes a lot of the tedium out of the researching.

I think it would be really nice to have the option to have some sort of text popup like "[item name] researched" after you use the quick research button. Just now I hit quick research for an item in my inventory without realizing I had 2 others not yet researched that were grabbed, and now I have no idea what they were. Oops.

Edit: Nvm, it seems to only do this when I have the mod "Ignore Researched Items" enabled at the same time. I'll take it up with that dev. :)

When I click the button to research all, it works, but then between 3 and 10 seconds later the game completely freezes. Is there any information I can provide to help you fix this?

It doesn't notice items that are partially researched. eg if you have 20 Blinkroot (which needs 25) but have already researched 5, it won't do them.

(When I did them manually, it froze, but I think that was the fault of another mod.)

Is it possible to have an option to only research items that you have enough to fully research? For example if you needed 100 of an item to research, but only have 80, the option for it to not research those items until you've got enough (without having to favorite them every time)
