It's been too long and this is the magazine provided as is from the original mesh, Querentin was actually not doing proper insertion with it.

Didn't make much since the Hunting Rifle to be a Mini-14. A lot of places don't even let you hunt with .223

Confused by what you mean here.

I'm going for more of a matte finish with a slight reflection rather than coated in chrome paint without the high memory compromises.

Most mods tend to rely on env_map which create a lot of noise in the graphics that everything else is nearly impossible to distinguish while also have ridiculous issues in darker areas which L4D2 often make use of.

You can also only use so much out of $phongboost before it becomes another glossy mess.

Unfortunately most of the weapons appear more of a plastic-ish material than a metallic one and are way too bright in lightened areas.
The most noticeable are the chrome shotgun and the M16 assault rifle.
Has it something to do with the fact that i'm not running the game on custom anti aliasing settings?
Also, i'd like to apologize if i may sound rude, but i understand all the work and effort that has been put into this and how hard it is.

It's as good as it can be for the reflection, if you want to remove it, download GCFScape and unquote with // the env_map line then repack with vpk.exe from Authoring Tool.

The scope lens is the only problem, doesn't seem to reflect the map cell properly, would love a version that is just a dark static lens like the other m14 improved mod's, other than that perfect work
