nice mission
the trackers really disrupted my ambush, they just kept pouring in and couldn't plan it as well as I wanted, went for the PT boat exfil

Hellcase-Contact | Software if you use zeus enhanced plus echos sandbox everywhere you should be able to open ESE and "add all objects to zeus" then open zeus its-self and drag the stuck AI to you and out of the water.

TheLazyDugong31 you know you can just use zeus enhanced and it does everything that JB's AI mod does and much more right? and unlike JB's AI it doesn't break the ability to switch to your AI team mates. really dk why people praise that mod so highly.

So I am really new to PC gaming and downloading mods... It seems I have missed something and when I go to select any of the SOG scenarios I subscribed to, nothing happens. Anybody able to help a brotha out?

An extremely high-octane MACV SOG mission! It starts nice, slow and quiet, and then when you initiate the ambush, it's a fight all the way to the finish! Very well paced, superbly polished, and a highly replayable mission that is quite realistic and authentic, paying homage to the men of SOG and the missions they conducted deep behind enemy lines in Laos, Cambodia, and North Vietnam. Ran the mission again with Johnnyboy's SOG AI, and the mission feels even better than when I first played it a year or so ago. HeadUp definitely knows how to make splendid missions, and is also extremely helpful in teaching how to make them. I should know; He taught me! Hope to see even more missions from HeadUp, especially now with Spearhead 1944 out!

Good mission. Tnx. As I undood, bots are spawning endless, so maybe you can add command
{ deleteVehicle _x } forEach allDeadMen; to radio to remove deadbodies to prevent freezes.
Nice mission apart from not being able to extract since 1 medic was in water and could not move an inch I couldn't get on the boat since I spent 20 minutes trying to get that 1 medic into the boat and the boat kept running and once I caught up I could not enter.

I was still in the middle of John Stryker Meyer’s “Across the Fence” while working on this one. Almost all of my scenarios are inspired by the amazing first hand accounts of guys like him and Plaster. Not sure it’s possible to do justice to Mad Dog in A3, the engine would break over all the bodies being stacked.

Read SOG book from John Plaster. Then play this mission. Great experience, atmosphere..feels like reading the book. Very intensiv firefights....always to be hunted with feeling

Great Mission! Especially loved the Lebowski reference lol. If you're down to do requests, maybe something centered around the regular army would be sweet. Keep up the great work.

Sorry to hear you ran into issues with Helo Transport. I tried testing this scenario on my machine and was not able to recreate the issue you describe - I had no issues with Helo Transport using Radio 0-8-1-1. Consider unsubscribing and resubscribing, restart the full mission, and ensure no other addons or mods are running that might interfere.

You should see a hint or prompt to click on the desired drop-off LZ using your map, open the map (use Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom in or out) and select the blue dot marker of the LZ. It should take off after you click the map. It's a bit of a finicky and opaque system from vanilla Arma 3, but it works when used properly.

At the base I get in the helicopter with the entire team but the helicoper doesnt take off!

Hello, congratulations on this mission. To be able to fully play your missions, not speaking fluent English, if at all, I translate them into French. I would like to know if you allow me to publish them translated so that other people in my situation can also fully benefit from them. Of course with links to your account and your original mission. I translated "SEAL TEAM Direct Action","Op Chalkdust","OSS Op Jedburg" and "SAS RED El Alamein. Everything I have translated is on my workshop . Thank you.

I just completed my 3rd attempt and got back with all team members! Nice mission!

One question: When heading to secure one of the PZ's, I get a waypoint taking me back to the ambush area. I cannot figure out the purpose for this.

I was hoping there was a way to PM but I can't find it. I had some questions on how you set this up, and had a suggestion on a way to demo charges that I use. It really adds something to a mission like this.
