This design did not take into actual function at all, and is the most useless piece of crap ever.
Never has a mining car gotten so much stuck as this one.
Reverse doesn't even function at all when you are in a slight downwards angle.
The engine is too high up and blows up from crashing into tunnnel ceilings.
This thing is now stuck in a ditch of it's own making where it belongs.
Second: This has given me an idea
I like that plugin for subgrids, its really helpful
You can easily get that and other great plugins if you get the Plugin Loader mod here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2407984968&searchtext=plugin
As a bonus you don't have to add them to every world, and since plugins are client side other people don't have download them for you play multiplayer.
For me rover works fine without a gyro on, But I believe it may be caused by a full cargo (too much weight on the rear wheels can cause a flip).
Pistons and landing gears are subgrids, so it can't be created via projections (Keens, we are still waiting this!), so you will have to place blocks by yourself. The rover will be updated with auto configurator for setting the placed by you blocks in the next couple of days. Right now it more like a creative mode feature
I'll check the wheels
It makes almost straight tunnels, but requires an often load off :)
Very cool!
Wish more realistic Rover Servers were out there to make good survival use of creations like this.
