3.1.2 patch [forum.paradoxplaza.com] is now live.

Right, the patch is not out until mid next week, oops. :)

Well, 3.1.2 is out and it looks like this mod is no longer needed! It's been a fun ride guys. :)

I did write events recalculating jobs so the pops are never locked. They will become unemployed specialists and will claim restored jobs as they should be.

Did you just deactivate the jobs or did you also write events that trigger jobs to be reprioritized after running into deficit? I tried something similar with research jobs deactivated but the researchers kept working non-existant jobs still providing research and only left non-existant jobs with a manual trigger.

Will think about it. :)

honestly, i think its gonna HAVE to be something else, maybe opinion?

I see it now, just unsure how to handle it without completely changing trade acceptance to something else.
Richard Mc Nutbuster 19 Sep, 2021 @ 10:04am
meaning you can infinitely ask new trades to give 1 energy a month, and 30 credits extra EVERY TIME

i mean, the diplomacy tradition has a broken modifier (i believe the bottom right one from memory) which gives +5 trade acceptance

I would need a vanilla or semi-vanilla save where I can replicate it.
Richard Mc Nutbuster 19 Sep, 2021 @ 8:39am
can we possibly get a fix for the broken diplomacy bit too?
being able to infinitely ask for 1 energy a month due to +5 acceptance is pretty cursed
