I know that i have 170 mods, but this is the only mod that crash my game at the start without an error, it only close my game, i dont have any clue why the mod does that.

Apparently, the game keeps on saying that assets won't let me add in the mod and even if I put it as the only mod it won't work. I know the mod author is probably moved on but I'd like to know if someone else has experienced this issue.

so the tooltip for the odd tempering blood gems says "NOT +7% damage" is that a mistake or does the trinket actually not do anything?

For some reason conflicts with The Choir Hunter Class Mod. Very strange, but they work separately.

You should make this class unable to be guarded, guard makes this class too easy to use.

In case anyone is confused about the odd tempering blood gem like I was.

It increases the damage low stat by 7%. though the is false rule confuses me as I think it implies this does nothing at all. this buff is found in the trinket file for the mod. It does not add flat damage or increase the max dmg you can do. Assuming I'm not missing anything it just increases the minimum damage you do by 7%. I'd like to see a better version of this at some point as this iteration seems quite weak and unintuitive.

Genuinely one of the best and most balanced classes. Just like the actual bloodborne chikage, extended use causes massive hp loss in exchange for big damage and that same balance is seen here. Also the accuracy boost to Iai on the transform is a nice touch to make a transforming attack. Overall very happy this has been made, probably my favorite modded class.

I found the Odd Tempering Blood Gems so I can confirm they appear, but they say "NOT +7% DMG" what exactly does that mean?

Yes, the knight of cainhurst's riposte does ranged damage (the animation for it is them firing the gun) so the trinkets are basically riposte damage trinkets (referring to dredgen). What i like about the cainhurst knight especially is that the visceral attack is actually useful (most bloodborne mods have it) because the self heal allows you to use it as a finishing move in certain fights rather than just killing an enemy who is already stunned. Love the mod 0 complaints

Okay now that I read that it sounds rude. I really like the Cainhurst knights from bloodborne and this mod seems really cool (although I haven't tried it yet), and I don't mean to sound rude. The class actually looks very well made and fits in with the art style! But reading the comments and seeing that only numbing mist is ranged + the ranged damage trinkets are weird. I like the transformation skillset being applied to the chikage though, novel idea being applied in a way I didn't expect!

What I'm seeing from the comments and the description given, why tf are there ranged trinkets? Only numbing mist seems to be ranged and it does no damage by design. Did you make the trinkets without giving thought to the skillset?

I like how this character has a gun and trinkets that help increase damage of range attack but only have one attack that does -100% damage. But the character is still really cool

I noticed campskill bone marrow ash buff ranged dmg and crit, but only numbing mist is ranged. And that has a -100% dmg mod. So what's the point of using that camp skill?

From my point of view, this character can attack the first three ranks from the first three ranks and deal okayish to above average damage. Other skills are bit too clunky for my taste, but the stun from riposte was hilarious, I give you that. If Saitama, the One Punch man played this game, he would have used this character for sure. Suggested improvements ? The iai attack usable after transforming should have unlimited reach aka from any position to any position. If im hurting myself to use something, let it be strong and/or versatile. This is also one of many characters with bonus against stunned targets which I find very difficult to use as well, since "red" dungeon enemies are nigh immune to stuns alltogether so for this and other skills one needs some reliable stunner character/trinkets which might not be worth the hassle...

thanks for the changes. Last thing i noticed is that the damage dealt to himself is kinda high. Maybe, lowering some stats in order to lower his self damage a little bit? Considering he has low health, 5 damage just to apply the reposte is harsh, and when change stance, both bleed and 8 damage on Iai kinda hurts, ending up to avoid using them

"Replenish Bullets" made a change to give itself a mark and lowered all sound volumes a bit.

first of all, good job! Favourite covenant hands down!
Second: maybe you could put "mark" on replenish bullet? Is more in line with other "bloodborne" new classes through the mods and without it, could be limited in use! Iplayed quite a lot and it's really the only thing i miss

Good mod, but i think the sounds for the attacks might be a little loud? The slash for example is much louder than other classes basic attacks.

Skill balance update has been done. Please see the update note for details.

As for Numbing mist, this skill is like a flavor to recreate the motif character.
I think it is effective against blood suckers and enemies of Darkest Dungeon. However, blood suckers are highly resistant to Debuff, so the situations where they are really effective may be quite limited...

You may still feel that adjustments are needed.

Really enjoy the mod but there are some things I kinda dislike:
- I feel like the Human/Normal form is pretty weak so not much reason at all to use it. Two main reasons: The base slash is pretty weak maybe if it s just a minus 20% it would feel a little better. The second thing is riposte is straight poo poo, I get the dmg being a bit low since it has a chance to stun which is fine a good idea even but the duration is too low it only lasts one turn considering consumes health to activate, not worth. The acc is pretty low too so I do not see why it should be such low duration and consume my hp.

- Numbing mist I have no idea when I would use this at all, like the only mob in the game I can think of that heals is the sailor.

- Finally the bleed amount applied seems a bit much like taking 15 dmg when I swap seems a little high imo maybe if it was 9 it would feel better but does not bother me that much.

All in all tho I do like the mod great job!

his equipment works properly now and his audio is good, but when he becomes afflicted or virtuous he just says "str afflicted/vitrued" with a bit of code, although i assume you just haven't added his lines yet, thank you for your insane hard work this is my new favourite class

I found out how to fix the equipment lvl bug. in the cainknight.info.darkest, just change .upgraderequirementCode 0 to .upgradeRequirementCode 0 (capital letter R).
