I have a suggestion for another mod, which I've made myself but I am being unable to convert it to the modbuddy\workshop.

If you remove both Tunnels and Subways from the Guerilla Ops missions, you will get those only on Psi Transmitters and Swarm defense.

This way you still have Sewers and Subways in the game but they will be niche missions while the majority of Guerilla Ops will be Small Towns and Slums.

Thank you kind sir, sewer missions are fugly as hell, worst underground missions by far.

Hmm, started a new game with this mod enabled and just got a sewer map. It says "Tunnels beneath something something" but it looks like a sewer map to me.

Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

I swear every other mission was in a god dam sewer... Thanks a lot for this

I LOVE this Mod - THANKYOU !
I've played a whole Campaign and it works fine! - No Problems at all

Besides the sewers just not being a good map it's also extremely disproportionately likely to cause a glitch where there's a bugged enemy somewhere inaccessible, preventing any mission with a "neutralize all enemies" objective to become impossible to complete. Best mod

With this mod, the game has become much more diverse. Missions on rare maps began to appear more often. Now I do not regret at all that I removed the sewer completely. )

Unfortunately with how the base game mission generation is set up that is not possible. It rotates the different plots so that you get equal amount of each plot type, with possibly the occasional gap as not all mission types can be done on each plot type but it will then catch back on later. Tunnels/sewer just feel too common because they're always pretty much the same map.

Tell me, please, by what system are the cards sorted? And then it seems to me that the sewer and subway are more often than others several times (observations for more than 2000 hours of play).
I would not like to remove these cards completely, but I would be happy to reduce their frequency.
Tell me, is it possible to edit it in the configuration files?

Last time I checked there were no sewers in the vanilla game, and it is tagged for wotc

Mod updated, should now work with mods that add new sewer plots

Would you by chance have a save of that? I'd be interested in testing things

Hello, this is a handy mod, but I had to deactivate it in my most recent campaign as it seemed to cause issues when attempting to generate an Ambush map. With the mod active it would either generate no map at all or a single PCP with the evac zone placed off in unreachable space. After turning this mod off it generated a standard Ambush map (in the sewers; I'm also using Covert Infiltration).

I'm sorry but this mod is terrible.

Ever since I installed this, whenever I flush my toilet the water just spins in place and won't drain. Now my bathroom smells like shit (literally) cause the waste has nowhere to go.

I can't believe Valve lets people get away with this, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Civvie would be proud.

I'd like sewers way more if you could jump down into the gutters, with few sporadic ladders to get back up.

@OnyxLock @Fritzchen I will not be doing a similar mod for subways, but the same approach should also apply there. I do not want to get rid of the undergrounds altogether, but there is no need for 2 separate types for it.

@SpicyMeat The abandoned plot type is tied strongly to the lost, so just removing it would make for quite odd situations.
Fritzchen 21. sep. 2021 kl. 21:37
BIG Thanks!
We need a Sewer AND Metro Begone-Mod!

I hate These 'always the same' Underground Maps.
They're borring and monotonous.

"Thumb UP"

tempting...

Oh... oh no... this goes against every fiber of my being!! You see, for me, sewers are the BEST maps, simply for one reason: in terms of the photobooth, it is the plot type that offers the BEST lighting out of the entire bunch. :P

But I admit, my priorities are all messed up. Good mod though!

If only there was a mod that could do something similar, but instead of removing plot types, it removed time of day skybox lighting?
SBlack 21. sep. 2021 kl. 14:08
Subway maps are actually pretty nice. The mission where you have to rescue an operative and then Advent drops in people every round until you evac is very tense
Spicy Meat 21. sep. 2021 kl. 14:05
Would you consider removing Lost city plot types as well?
OnyxLock 21. sep. 2021 kl. 13:46
Will there be a mod like this for subway maps as well?
Grimsorrow 21. sep. 2021 kl. 13:32
omg thank you so much! always hated the sewers and how much it popped up:steamthumbsup:
