Thanks for the feedback! When I do end up writing it to use patches/xml, The easiest way will likely be to have a universal frame system, and xml defined sizes/offsets. The mod will scan for anything with the "watch" joy comp thingy, since that seems to be used exclusively for TV's making the whole shebang universal.
Either way, "Science Never Stops" has a couple of TVs. thankfully these are not curved, just a bit bigger, so they're probably a lot easier to implement.
