for some reason the templar gauntlet doesnt work on my soldier? did i misinterpret the mod?
im using RPGO, and the regular templar works normally but a soldier with the gauntlets isnt able to rend, the option doenst even show?

Hello, this weapon doesn't real Templar Shard Gauntlet, it's a weapon provided in the Psionic Melee mod, and they're actually different.Psionic Melee’s Shard Gauntlet,named 'replace_psiamp', Using this weapon does not grant focus, nor does it grant shield protection to the Templar Shield skill. Can you modify these two questions?

I would like to +1 the question that @Church.exe asked about the requirement for the UI mod, since I intend to use another mod overriding it. Quoting :

Knowing that I also will be using "Detailed Soldier List Redux" (and of course "Psionics Ex Machina"), is it safe/recommended to disable the UI mod and play without it ?

Iridar's Right Templar gauntlet doesn't seem to come with a slot for gems. Anyway to rectify that?

To add to my previous comment the gems slotted into a gauntlet will only do damage if I also have the psi amp equipped.

I'm having issues with both the templar and mage gauntlets not doing any damage with the gem abilities. The abilities still destroy the environment but don't do damage to enemies.

Hi. After someone updated the PEX mods, the slots for psi amps disappeared and nobody but templars can use GEMs. Any clues what caused this?

what would be cool is if the gauntlet's psionic "blades" changed color depending on the color of the crystal you put in. (Seems a little too Star Wars-y but still)

Does this actually need the UI mod or is that a soft requirement? I have another UI mod which already displays those things so getting another one might cause issues.

I've also put a blue gem into the gauntlet, beside soulfire, and both work fine. I am happy.

@nephyral i've updated the mod with atsr configs which i've confirmed work my end (including with blue gems), try un/resub to force update the mod.

I replaced the 1st line in pexm:
+WeaponCategorySets=(WeaponCategorySetName=PexMAmpLike, WeaponCategories=(psiamp, replace_psiamp, sectoidpsiamp, bioamp))

with the first 2 lines from the gauntlet mod:
-WeaponCategorySets=(WeaponCategorySetName=PexMAmpLike, WeaponCategories=(psiamp, replace_psiamp, sectoidpsiamp, bioamp))
+WeaponCategorySets=(WeaponCategorySetName=PexMAmpLike, WeaponCategories=(psiamp, replace_psiamp, sectoidpsiamp, bioamp, gauntlet))

result: no change :(

During fight, in the F1 menu of the templar at the weapon info in the bottom left corner of this menu it shows the soul fire GEM. But still no skill that I can use.

You may need to copy the contents of the XcomAbilityToSlotReassignment.ini in this mod into the same file in psionics ex machina (specifically, the top lines about weapon set)

Another great mod from you! There's only one problem: I've put a Soulfire gem into a gauntlet, but I don't see the Soulfire ability during fight. I am researching psionics at the moment, maybe it'll show up after that. Or did I miss anything? Just put the gem into a normal templar gauntlet, right?

PsiOffense from the Gauntlets is done by the same ability that PsiAmps have, and thus controlled by the same config. You can find those settings in the base Psionics ex Machina mod (default is 10,20,30) in the XComGameCore.ini
