The helicopter sounds is indeed annoying, could use some tweak on that.

And the BOT navmesh could use some more work too, they still have some dead spot like the stairwell, navigating through the cars and such, since you should know that BOT are the dumbest person when it comes to navigating.

Map overview could use some dark color as the background instead of light color, could be hard for some people to find where the hostages at.

But overall it's good already, FPS friendly (as long you don't push your computer too hard).

Fun map, even in bots. Do you think you'll add a mode like DM or AR? For example: on a map like this that's busy and there's so much to it, playing DM for ex. can let you explore the map more and learn some of it that way, that you can't when in a hostage game because you're focused on that goal and can't just wander. DM/bots will let you explore- I do it a lot with loaded maps. (Plus DM + AR are fun!) :) Just a thought, and good job! :csgoct:

Thanks Uber. Great map. A couple of suggestions... please declutter by removing a car or two, or 5. Also, access to ladderways etc is not smooth i.e. cluttered. So awesome otherwise, can't wait for next edition!

thanks to everyone for their comments. To respond to your concerns JErosion.The briefing window above says "hostages are somewhere between the 3rd and 4th floors. To be sure, they spawn randomly on either the third floor landings or the fourth floor. You have to hunt for them, while dealing with terrorists with big guns. The idea was to make a realistic map with real-world issues, like the bombs beeping, the helicopter making a gawdawful racket, distractions. This map is more about tactics than anything. It's a team map

The map is wide open in a sense with multiple routes, to stimulate tactics and team-work and also to keep the map fresh and interesting, intead of A long and short, B long and short and middle. THe reason for splitting up the spawns is so that while the terrorists have "home-ground advantage", the CTs have a slight edge in terms of the roof-top ingress to balance it out a bit. The round can go quickly if you scoot up to a hostage and bail, so it is incumbent upon the defending T's to stop that from happening. Playing against BOTS means a firefight or sneak-and-peek game, I hope to see this map being played soon by 32 or more players, to really see how it floats. Thanks for your input.

With CT spawns at both the roof and the ground floor, while it makes sense tactically it makes things difficult game wise, personally id have either the CT entering from the ground floor with T and the hostages holed up on or near the rood, or (and even better) have CT spawn in up top and the T barricaded near the ground floor(or 2nd floor), Hostage Rescue point can remain on both the roof and ground

In the stairwells you can get stuck behind the doors.

This map has a lot of ways to get from point A to point B and its almost too much. Once you figure out the layout you can as CT run all the way down one of the stairs, grab the hostage and run to the hostage rescue spot without being seen or firing a shot, which is kinda bad.

The beeping of the bombs are really distracting and they are scattered throughout the complex which adds so all you can hear is the beeping all over the place. The bombs are not a bad idea but it can be used as homing beacon of sorts by placing Hostages nearby, also to make it a little easier to navigate, consider giving the interior of the park garage a paint job, in addition to numbering the floors a lot of garages also color code the floors.

Lets have a post that is more about your map and not about how desperate someone else is about you giving their weapon skins a rating

Issues: There is no clear definition of where the hostages are, for the first couple of rounds i never even saw them and when i did it was by accident, then after that it took a few rounds before i memorized what floor they where on, so matches are less about rescueing anybody and more about can you find and kill all of the enemy team before the timer runs out.

- rebuilt nav mesh manually 100% - smoother stairs and general BOT movement

- changed sound quality of helicopter rotor sound
- BOTs no longer have access to the ladders via nav - players can use as normal
