there is a github page that lets you convert rbxlx to vmf. it's a bit janky and only works for smaller maps, but it works (although you have to do some editing yourself still, since it does not properly import most meshes, and the replicated texture colors are too dark. also by default it's set to scale 15.0, which makes the player the same height as a roblox character, the problem with this being that it makes everything look far too big. from my experience, setting it to 12.5 is more ideal without making the map too small)

@weedshot its will be imposible or extremly extremly hard to code roblox files into gmod, since roblox studio is not open source

basically, this addon just adds a new category on the map select specifically for maps which have their filename begin with 'rblx_' or 'roblox_'. this is to seperate sandbox maps from roblox maps

hope it helps, it might be good to download this addon via steam addon downloader and bundle it into your addon to allow the category without having this addon installed but you dont have to do that

it will only appear if theres any maps under that category, at the moment there are non but i plan to edit my previous roblox maps to use this category, alongside future ones. if you want to do it manually, just replace the front bit of the map name with "rblx_" or "roblox_"

I don't see it on my maps, does it require something to be downloaded?

i am planning on potentially making a apocolypse rising map in gmod but im working on another map at the moment for halloween

You realize Roblox and Source are two completely different engines, right?
Gmod Roblox maps have been made by utilizing a program primitively converts roblox maps into .vmf files

then this feature is pretty darn useless

you cant play roblox studio maps in garrys mod, they have to be made specifically for gmod, also roblox does not keep the data of the map file when you close the game.
