The aesthetic and the details are just great.
As for the map layout, seems that can work a competitive wise with no probs.

great layout and fun to play... hard to immediatly tell where you are with all the textures being the same... active duty maps have textures for every callout/area

This map looks good, but it has a lot of places that it looks like you can walk into but you can't, but the only thing that look like its preventing you from entering is high grass, if a path is truely blocked, it needs to be marked better, with either more rocks of mossy bricks or whatever

I make and edit textures and models and alot of other stuff for my own maps and sometimes for others for requests, as far as the parallax wrapping and edges issues, there is always a way to make it or fake it. They were just suggestions, but if you need any help with custom goodies, let me know

And regarding the parallax: I can try that, but I am pretty sure it won't look good on the brush edges - parallax never looks good on edges, especially not when the texture does not flow around it without seams.

Where exactly would you want to put the narrow sniping lane you were talking about?

Bombspot B also had more routes that can still be seen. You could walk into the house with the balcony and through an ally left from B that had two exits that are now blocked by plants. You can use noclip to explore these areas. I felt both the routes on A and B made the map too big and confusion, so they were taken out.

@uberkirsche: When I was still in the gameplay testing phase, the broken roof above Bombspot A was intact and you could walk on it. The small one-way tunnel to A had a ladder that lead to the roof. When you jumped down the one-way ledge, there was another ladder left from the center entrance to A that also lead to the roof. And there was even a stair near the caves (it is still there, but blocked by rocks). This was fun to a certain extent, but I decided against it in the end, because A became a maze-like camping fortress. There were so many locations to get shot from, you couldn't really figure out how to play this spot the best. It was all about hoping not to get shot from everywhere.

great map. really attractive and the layout is good. I would create more lanes and some high sniping points, using some of the areas where you have a broken bridge type texture. People like to explore. Also I sugegst you place a narrow lane through the mid for sniping. You might want to take a look at parallax mapping for the stone textures, the map will blow everyones minds then.

Thank you :) I started back in 2012 in September. That's more than one and a half years ago, but it's by far not the time it actually took me to make it, often I didn't touch the map for months. WOW! This is really unbelievably cool!!! How long did it take from beginning to end? I LOVE the huge tree in the center that wraps around the paths and the huge custom stone and the pit of water. This is really incredible!

Danke fürs Feedback. Ja, ich hab absichtlich auf moderne Objekte verzichtet, weil ich einen nahezu unberührten Dschungel haben wollte, die Holztüren sind da eine Ausnahme. Dass die Map beim ersten Spielen verwirrend ist, kann ich mir vorstellen. Wo man hin kann und wo nicht, wird man mit der Zeit rausfinden. Viele der Versenkungen in den Seitenwänden sind absichtlich dicht, um nicht zu stark becampt zu werden. Für detailliertes Gameplayfeedback bin ich immer dankbar. Ich hab die Map zwar ausgiebig getestet, aber weder ich noch die anderen Tester sind wirkliche CS Spieler. Vielleicht findest du ja noch Möglichkeiten zum Detailtuning?

(2) Zu wenig Positionen und auf B und B-Lang gibts so viele Wege in die Wand rein, wo nur paar Sträucher davorwachsen und sonst so aussehen als könnte man easy reinlaufen, die einen beim ersten Spielen total verwirren und abfucken würden. Ansonsten sehr hübsch aber B und T-Spawn viel zu langweilig imo.

Mitte und A-Spot sind sehr sehr hübsch und sehn auch sehr vielversprechend aus dass das gameplay da viel bock macht. B-Spot und die T-Wege zu den Spots sehen dafür umso langweiliger aus. Interessant dass du anscheinend versucht hast, noch mehr als auch aztec nen in neuerer Zeit komplett unberührten Dschungel darzustellen und auf Kisten oder irgendwelche Holzwege verzichtest hast aber meiner Meinung nach leidet die Abwechslung zu stark darunter :/ Wenn ich das mal mit dem großen Spot und der Mitte auf de_ruins vergleichen darf fehlts da imo einfach ein bisschen wenn man nur altertümliche Mauern und Dschungel hat. Auf A, in der Mitte und abgesehen vom B-Spot eigentlich auf der ganzen CT-Hälfte hast du trotzdem noch enorm viel aus der beschränkten Theme rausgeholt aber bei B hörts imo total auf, der Spot gefällt mir überhauptnicht.
