@SpyroGuy thank you for making this, those are the tracks that i remembered on my xbox version of the game, one question though is it possible for you to make it so that the tracks only play on the first/second half of the maps where it got split up on the xbox version of the game? for example the first part of the map "tower of babel" should play its og track then when sam gets to the room with the ammo right before the courtyard where you see the tower itself then the xbox track should start playing cuz there is where the second part of the map on the xbox version of the game starts, the bright island campaign actualy has a system in wich it play different tracks on the maps based on where sam is.

I freaking love the alternate Tower of Babel, so atmospheric.
Soulmyr 14 May, 2017 @ 4:39am
Ah well, thanks for the response
SpyroGuy  [author] 14 May, 2017 @ 3:45am
Soulmyr, I'm afraid that I am not capable of that right now as I just happen to be a 32bit OS user (Fusion is 64bit only) also unfortunately (not for me lel) Blizzard consumed my soul entirely with Heroes of the Storm which became pretty much the only game that I've been playing in the past months. :microraptor:
Soulmyr 30 Apr, 2017 @ 4:39am
Any chance you could port this over to Fusion?
Convenient Spider 10 May, 2016 @ 6:18am
I still managed to get them. They're in my downloads folder.
SpyroGuy  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 4:36am
Oh I see now. You're talking about the 2 year old links that I gave after being requested to do so.
Bad news, man: my Dropbox account was suspended since then, so you won't be able to get them anyway, also please don't expect me to remember links that I shared YEARS ago, since I'm doing it daily. :ss13ok:
Convenient Spider 9 May, 2016 @ 1:52pm
Don't worry about it. I checked and it said Workshop items updated.
Convenient Spider 9 May, 2016 @ 1:51pm
The drop box link you posted to get Lava Caves and Corridor of Death music from the Xbox version.
SpyroGuy  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 7:53am
May I ask you what dropbox links are you talking about?
This is a Workshop item, if you click the "subscribe" button, the mod gets downloaded automatically to your game, though it may be possible that not ALL Workshop-supported games are moddable this easily, howewer Sam games ARE.
Convenient Spider 9 May, 2016 @ 7:49am
Even the ones from the drop box link? Okay cool.
SpyroGuy  [author] 9 May, 2016 @ 7:44am
If you have downloaded them, they are already in the game.
That's what the Workshop itself is for. The downloaded items are added to the game automatically.
Convenient Spider 9 May, 2016 @ 6:45am
So I downloaded the Lava Caves and Corridor of Death music, but I don't know where in the Serious Sam Revolution folder to put them. Do I put them in workshop or some other folder?
Johnny Paquet 1 Sep, 2014 @ 2:22am
Instant thumbs up. I absolutely LOVE it!! :D Thanks mucho!

A link was already given in the previous comments, so try going back a few pages.
Spaghettacus 6 Jul, 2014 @ 6:42pm
Also can you please upload all of the Xbox exclusive music elsewhere, I have been looking for it.
Spaghettacus 6 Jul, 2014 @ 6:41pm
I think its possible to have different musics play on the same level with regards to where the player is. Land of the Damned does it.
Black 30 Jun, 2014 @ 7:01am
Ok, thanks you :) I'll give it a try!
SpyroGuy  [author] 30 Jun, 2014 @ 6:54am
Everything I did so far with my sound mods is the result of examination, so I don't know if tutorials are available anywhere.
SpyroGuy  [author] 30 Jun, 2014 @ 6:53am
It's quite simple, first you have to make sure that your files are played in the game correctly (I'm not sure if the files are have to be .oggs or .wavs). To do this, you must check the location of the original files (with opening one of the All.gros) and make a separate .gro file with the same directory paths as the original gro has, so the game will use the new .gro instead (you don't have to do anything with the originals, because the game automatically uses the new gro's files). Also, you must not compress your .gro because the game can't use compressed audio.

So basically:
1. Check the original file paths and types
2. Make an identical path and put your own files to where their original versions are
3. Make a zip of it with 0 compressing (the compression value can be changed to 0 in Total Commander)
4. rename the .zip to .gro, so the game will recognize it
5. Test it by putting your finished .gro into the same directory where the All.gros are

Hi Spyro :3. I wondered, is it hard to replace audio files? 'Cause I want to have a french dubbed version. I have all the audio files but I don't know how to proceed. Do you know where I can find help? Thanks.

UPDATE: Removed Karnak from the list of affected levels, because the music was identical to the original track. Thanks to Nevermore2790 for the heads-up! :NiGHTS::Pizza:
Nevermore2790 1 Jun, 2014 @ 12:16am
I think you should reset Karnak's music back to its default PC one. As for Karnak Demo, switch the music back to its PC version too.
PathologicalFrolic 29 May, 2014 @ 6:31pm
dis is gud :coolsam:
Emperor Longcat 29 May, 2014 @ 12:11pm
Excellent! Thank you very much.
Emperor Longcat 28 May, 2014 @ 1:23pm
I request those extra tracks for modders/mappers, or a link to the files. Extra music was always one of those things that mappers needed.
SpyroGuy  [author] 26 May, 2014 @ 10:11am
You know, because of the lack of any separate "Moddable version" I think the only possible way to execute this is to create a separate campaign with the original files and edit the "music areas" there.
An "Xbox Campaign" so to say, since I don't think it's possible to modify the original campaign without any Moddable version. You can add replacements and edit minor stuff, but only as far as it doesn't affect the core experience.
Regardless of the intensions, if anyone begins to edit the original files themselves, it won't work (at least, that's what I think).

There, posted the info onto his workshop mod, hopefully he'll be able to respond in the meantime. Am really looking forward to this:D:
SpyroGuy  [author] 26 May, 2014 @ 8:46am
If he indeed managed to make the songs to be played in specific areas, I still have no experience of SE, so if you really want the mod to behave like the original Xbox soundtrack did, you should ask that guy instead.
Until then this mod shall stay here as an amateur example. :NiGHTS::Pizza:
🐟Atlascian Sarnosian IV🦈 25 May, 2014 @ 3:02pm
He did, I used the mod and I played through. He used all of them except for the Grand Cathedral one (which I was disappointed about)
SpyroGuy  [author] 25 May, 2014 @ 2:46pm
Unfortunately I don't know that mod.
Do you know if he was able to put the tracks into specific rooms?
🐟Atlascian Sarnosian IV🦈 25 May, 2014 @ 2:29pm
Aw.. sorry to hear that.
Was hoping I'd get to hear the full soundtrack.
..maybe you could ask this guy who imported the same music for SS:HD X-box music mod here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199165106 and ask him for assistance for making it the true way?

UPDATE: Two music tracks replaced from The Elephant Atrium to Ziggurat.
SpyroGuy  [author] 25 May, 2014 @ 1:03pm
Thanks for the info, I already knew that these tracks were made for the separated areas, but as I (sort of) stated in the description I don't have the means to script them into the only areas they were supposed to be played in, so I just put them into the overall level they were played in. To put it simple: I can't program the game to play the Xbox music where it is originally played, so if the uploaded music of City of Gods was supposed to be played in one particular room, the best I can do is to use it during the entirety of the level as music.

With that said I will replace the music of Elephant Atrium to Ziggurat, but that's the best I can do. :ss13ok:
🐟Atlascian Sarnosian IV🦈 25 May, 2014 @ 11:55am
You seem a little confused as to where the music should be played, here I made a list stating where exactly each of the new soundtracks are played. During before (or after) these tracks, the original music is played; but once you enter these areas listed below, the music changes
🐟Atlascian Sarnosian IV🦈 25 May, 2014 @ 11:54am
For the Karnak two-part, it changes when you first go into the 3-way area after the room with the superhealth trap, links to the Ahnk Pool and the building with the huge ammo supply.
-
New Luxor music plays entirely throughout the level.
-
New Sierra de Chiapas music plays once you first enter through the door to the temple going inside.
-
New Valley of the Jaguar music starts when you exit the temple into the open valley.
-
New City of the Gods, when you first enter the underground building after all the small village clusters.
-
The music listed for Elephant Atrium is NOT there. Instead the new replacement for that is during the Ziggurat level where it's after the area you have to place the two separate wings and instead have to touch the two Sacred Stones. Which this plays out through the rest of the level.
-
🐟Atlascian Sarnosian IV🦈 25 May, 2014 @ 11:53am
New Courtyards of Gilgamesh music starts when you enter the small hallway just after the area with the exploding floors.
-
New Tower of Babel music starts when you enter the large area where you first see the tower itself, just after the room of darkness.
-
New Citadel music is when you enter the second tomb area that goes underground. (if you know where the area where the Secret Phone Booth is, it's just after that area)
-
As for the Grand Cathedral, it is NOT a fight music. Yes, it's still a one-piece music. But the new music only lasts until where you go the huge area just after the bouncers arena. Then it goes back to the original music track.

I hope this helps on where exactly the music should be at, thank you.
If you need extra help on where those areas I stated are, I can post screenshots of those areas to you if you wish!
