amazing sub! it is a pity that i can not remote control the shuttle using the main sub, or i will have to have two npc guarding each of them(Will u please consider adding a remote control mode? just let me control the engine of the sub-sub using the main sub's control panel?). Hard for a single player like me to react fast, but i believe it will be fun if i have a crew to operate it together. Also i wonder if there is a way to know the speed and depth when two subs are together?

Incredible submarine, very fun concept. Just a few things found while using it in campaign.
-You could add a small battery charger to the top sub, otherwise I have to give people ID to access the shuttle charging spot
-The airlocks need to shut after a delay, they sink the subs when left open and people obviously expect them to automatically close and go out without closing them again
-The fabricator/deconstructor linked cabinets UI is a total pain in the ass by overlapping sometimes, I'm not sure if there is some fix for it but surely there is a way you could work around it

It's a great sub for playing the more boring missions, you can send the guys who are usually left twiddling their thumbs on the submarine off on the shuttle to do some other mission you have available.

I just found out that you forget to put "gap" between those hulls in Sigon,
which lead to "no air" & "strange water physics"

There is no such option for docking "shuttle" to level end, you have to finish (dock) the mission (level,whatever) with the main sub. You have to start (buy) exactly {AP] Sakala to play it proper,if you pick Sigon (shuttle) only, you wont be able to buy Sakala and add it to existing submarine. And yes, submarines does not update midcampaign ( they get updated until you buy them tho), so in order to play latest version of the sub you have to start a new campaign. I am certain that in the new version there is no such thing as this stupid chair. Yes some stuff on the submarine has custom colour (sometimes even different properties)

As for the invisible chair issue, I did what you said and unsubscribed and then deleted the mod folder and then resubscribed and then start the game. Load save file and the it's still there.

Ok, maybe it's some sort of persistant bug, maybe it will go away if I just start a new game using the same sub, right? So I start a new game, same [AP] Sakala sub as my starting sub and lo and behole, the invisible chair is still there....

also did I waste the 9000mks buying it seperately from the submarine guy when I could have paid for the maintenance guy 1000mks just to attach it? Or did you have to pay for another anyways or else the option would be greyed out?

The battery upgrade option is of course greyed out, presumably the battery is only on the shuttle which makes sense since the shuttle isnt currently connected to the main sub hence it would be greyed out

ok, where do you go from there in the maintenance upgrade guy? Is there a button to rejoin the two subs together or? Because all I see are just upgrade options....

try unsubscribing from the submarine in the steam wankshop and delete submarine folder in mods folder and subscribe back. Path: D\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Barotrauma\Mods

steam workshop is a wank, need to figure out why it refuses to post proper version of the sub. I think the only option to get shuttle back is at submarine upgrade guy in "maintenance" tab.

Um, the invisible chair is still there

I accidentally docked without the shuttle(I thought I was docking the shuttle but instead of docking the shuttle, it docked to the station instead since I was really close it ready to dock the station as soon as my shuttle docked back), is there a way to combine the shuttle and main sub back together again after buying the shuttle again off the submarine seller so that when you get off the station you have both and not one or the other?

I've managed to balance the byonancy, it is now possible to control without undocking, slow tho. Status monitor added to the shuttle also.

ok, how come on my screen it doesn't show up for me with submarine items tab at the trader? Yeah, add a load of ballasts so that it can move as one unit in case people leave you in multiplayer and then you're all by yourself or playing single player. And yes please add status monitor for that other half of the sub!

ive just checked in game , merchant has this "submarine" items tab, ill need to add extra ballast to the main submarine to make it byonancy efficient and swimable ( ill see what i can do about it). Status monitor is possible, yes

1) Oh, so you wanted an english name that can be universally translated into any other language and then back again in english as the same exact word?

2) So you can't add a tab for that because hauling many items in limited inventory slots on your character is inconvenient. Even the stock ships have this option!

3) I see.

4) Is it possible to make it as one unit as an option, for example you are the only person in the server (or playing single player with or without bots) and no else is playing with you, how do you pilot the sub if it can't move if both are docked to each other?

5) Then is it possible to add another junction box for the status monitor so the captain of that half of the sub can see which areas is need of repairs or conditions?

6) Then you need to update your workshop because I downloaded from the workshop and am still subscribed!

and yes, you should dock the shuttle to the main sub before trying to dock to the station (end round location)

answear from bottom to top. 1) i found no other suitable name in the list of translatable names. 2) i think you should bring items to the merchant in order to sell them. 3) those id cards allow its bearer to access this "stowage" room with toxins etc. Captain of the main sub should give them to the selected crew who is going to use the shuttle ( bottom sub in this instance). 4) dont think of it as 1 unit, each sub byonancy works only when undocked from each other. 5) "health locations" you mention require status monitor which takes 1 extra pin in the junction box which i ran out quickly. subs too small for status monitor i think.6) this chair is no more in the past submarine update, i think you are using outdated version of the sub.

О я вынашивал подобную идею и реализовал в виде пассивного блока станции и 2х модулей управления. А так же 2х челноков не связаных проектом с этой станцией один из них Warden спасибо :)

把下层潜艇想象成一个穿梭机,所以在战役中,“穿梭”潜艇在对接的那一刻应该与主潜艇(Sakala)对接,如果你在没有“穿梭”的情况下停靠(完成任务),它会消失,收回它的唯一选择是在车站购买。

emmm上浮问题解决了,要启动的话我现在都是去下面的船通电脱离之后连接返回主船才能移动,我不知道为什么一开始是无法让出船移动的,必须经过我这样 还有就是AI不能下另一艘船的问题解决了,延长梯子和AI路径他们就可以自由上下了,现在唯一BUG是主船仓连接站点的时候,按钮一直是脱离下面的船只之后才能连接站点,这时下面要是没人的话,下面的船就沉下去了。我在试图解决这个问题

Awesome sub, but when playin with some mates earlier we lost the top part of it and where stuck with the bottom part and couldnt figure a way to get the top back, we loaded into a new area and it was gone, but all in all its a super unique sub and great design

I’ve just finished hosting a few hours of a campaign, and I knew I had to come here as soon as I was finished. From the very moment my crew became aware that these subs were available to buy for our campaign, they wouldn’t shut up about it until we had gotten our 22000 marks, and to be honest neither could I. These 2 subs add a whole new depth to the campaign that wouldn’t be possible otherwise, and especially with Embrace The Ancients, it makes for some really good fun. Two good captains and coordinated crews are a sight to see in combat situations, one ship rising over the other to take the hit from the Hammerhead, the lower ship darting out to score some hits on the creature, it’s just fantastic. Well done.

You mean if you spawn as a captain in the lower sub, you cannot access main submarine doors etc?
