I'm also having the same issue that イムカ had. Specifically when repairing ruined ringworld segments they look like the machine ringworld while being repaired, but revert to the default appearance upon being completed. I'm going to try to troubleshoot it on my end but I wanted to report it here first as still being a potential issue.

sorry to be such a bother about these things, but the maginot ringworld segment actualy doesn't repsect graphical culture, like.... at all...

It doesn't even call the efect, and just sets itself to the pc_giga_maginot_ringworld_01_entity in the save file, or whatver the size equivalent is.

just figured I should probaly mention that, sorry.

I'll take a closer look. The new scripted effect _should_ understand the machine shipset, but something might not be lining up.

Something doesn't seem to be working quite right any more, the segments look right while being built but then default to mamalian whenn done.... I think its because gigastructures switched to a scripted triger to determine ringworld graphical culture....

I'm pretty sure it affects Maginot segments - almost everything that used regular ringworld sections was updated.

Unfortunately it's related to graphical changes that PDX made to the game. They used to move, but something with the 3.6 "Orion" update changed that. I did spend a lot of time experimenting but I was unable to find a workaround.

As of now the ringworld segments are all separated...
