Yes, that`s possible, but I will leave the mod as it is.
You could make an own mod with your music files.
The mod itself is very easy to handle.

yeah sorry posted on wrong mod page as i have all three in and trialling, i was running system and songs - no randomising though, thats my query.

I think I only need system and songs, but my tracks arent random, the eagles every time first time :-) how do I randomise them?

thank you, yes figured it out :-) - do i just need radio system and radio music to get the acoustic or do i need radio songs mod too?

Oh, I haven't done anything with Dayz for 3 years. But if I remember correctly, you don't need to do anything else with my mod. The important thing is that you place the radio in the editor. See the main mod.

Hi do you have a discord or link to some basic installation guidance, on a hosted server, added the mod (and Radio_songs and Radio_music covering my bases) but I cant see a profile folder or cfg etc, sorry bit of a novice query :-/

Hm nice idea. Why not? When you only want 1 SOS message the "Radio System" would be fine.
For more than one I would prefer the Metro Radio by Buddy for which I made Radio Songs.
In both cases you would have to make your own mod.
I will look into this for the metro radio mod...

It'd be nice if someone could have something like this broadcast on a single frequency and allow for adding of your own mp3/Wav files so you can have the station broadcast repeating emergency messages to survivors.
