I like the idea of adding pyromaniac and chaos since they are red. dont like the idea of removing a bunch of red items and addind non red items. ruins the entire theme

Editing the itempool.xml should do the trick, really. Just make sure you edit it correctly. Unless the way mods work has changed at some point without me noticing

Yes, you can just go into the files of this mod and change the item pool yourself. Same goes for any other mod, really, you can just edit their files however you please

Nice I installed this. I still wish someone would just do a mod where the Ultra Secret rooms just have the angel item room pool again. That was so awesome. Angel rooms are so rare so this was always a treat when doing a red key run.

Finally, balance is restored.

I like this Mod. There's still a few bad eggs in the Ultra Secret Pool of course, but I think the ones removed where justified hot garbage that felt like a slap to the face (like Isaac's Heart or Mom's Lipstick.) Especially when you put that effort or got the rare opportunity into finding these rooms.

Hope they'll improve this Room Pool a little bit in the future, but for now; I'm glad this Mod exists!

Well, okay, a lot of stuff is subjective, and in this instance I personally believe this is a change for the better. And this is still an optional mod after all, nobody's forced to use it if they don't like it or don't agree with the way I handled it.

I personally think USR room is in a good state now, since it's no longer a placeholder Angel Room but its own thing instead. Even if it has some weak items, it has a bunch of very powerful items you couldn't find in Angel Room, such as Echo Chamber, Brimstone, D6, The Pact, Magic Mushroom...

There really aren't many items that fit into the "red theme" that aren't already in the item pool, but there are a lot of items that just don't belong in an item pool of a room as rare as this. I get that the idea was that it could have any red items but I think that includes too many very bad items. I don't see why I shouldn't remove those for a better player experience.

very interesting, but you shouldn't delete items from the pool, you should just add some more red items but not deleting them from the pool... that's the point of Ultra Secret Room, but anyways epic mod

@admittedGirthness: Uh, yes? That's kinda the point, mostly removing items that I didn't think deserve to be in the item pool, stuff like Yum Heart. As I said I only added two new items, the rest is simply what's left from the original pool, which I think is still a good range of different items.

@Blind, the Bound Demon; Well, there are plenty of items in the unmodified ultra secret room pool that aren't mostly red too, such as Knockout Drops or the Pact, Pyromaniac and 4.5 Volt are about as red as those imo
