In these weapons defence, they tried keeping it simillar to the og ones, look at those, and it wouldnt be fiting if these would be 4k 500 polygon weapons compared to the models around them. (Its rockstars fault for calling this definitive, more like updated?)



But the AK is just something, they couldnt get that slanted upper receiver right atleast, it would just look nicer, and the frontal grip for some reasson is angled (at the bottom) M16 looks like that roblox M16 mesh, wich is kinda nice.

@𝓋𝓇𝒾𝓈𝓀𝒶 so true, for example on the AK-47 model only the magazine/pistol-grip area looks like it came from the 3 model, with the rest of it comes from the SA model.

They look absolutely hideous! No thought whatsoever was put into the redesigns of these things; GSG literally just glanced at the old models, tossed in some vertices, and called it a day. And it shows in the way that they blindly interpreted the look of the old models. Amongst the examples is the foldable stock of the shotgun having been turned into an ugly-looking thing that does nothing but block the view of the front sight.

They really are a testament to just how much of a soulless cash grab the "Definitive" Edition trilogy is.
