i dont remember what it was called, but i called it the shrouded ghost, which is the white shark from sea of thieves. it looked like that shark

Unfortunately some alts have to be cycled out due to me adding alts that represent official rivals events she is featured in. If you know exactly what colors the alt was/alt name i can possibly cycle it back in.

did you remove a skin from her? i used to use a skin that was mostly white with some red highlights i think. I really would like to have that back if possible please?!?!? :8bitheart:

Epic. Thanks for the clarification! I like the idea of an extended rivals cast as the lore could be so expansive with more fighters! I'll add her to the list

@monagression, this is a character designed specifically for the rivals setting! Like olympia, they are just a skilled martial artist that exists in the world, and her elemental logic follows similar characters in base cast.

If you perform frame perfect command input for electric, it does not take meter. The CPU is programmed to be able to do a ton of electrics frame perfect!

The AI was comboing a Lure Light Chop into two consecutive EWGFs. Is that a thing players can do, because I thought it took meter? In training mode I can only get one of those moves off before they all get put on cooldown, not all three. If players can do that, then how?? I would assume this would just be a thing the level 1 turbo AI could do, but i'm not fighting that version, I'm fighting level 9s.

Yeah, as much as I can see your concerns, most players in the community haven't really expressed that she's unbeatable. I would like to keep her AI this way as I play against it regularly and don't have too much of an issue beating her with different characters. The #1 tip i recommend is that learning her approaches should alleviate her damage output. She is meant to convert a TON of damage off a punish, which makes her AI fairly notable among other AIs coded by Karu.

agree with yeetus, AI seems broken. Not broken as in not working, broken as in final boss in a KOF game. I managed to beat it, but its incredibly frustrating. Feels less like getting combo'd in a platform fighter, more like getting stunlocked into a free 30-50% per punish without being able to tell what moves she's even using, like i'm playing tekken or something. Probably a lot more doable with practice, but for just casual play its kind of ridiculous. Haven't even tried level one, now im afraid to.

I think itd be good if the dash attack stomp window was shortened by alot. id really like to still be able to follow up with forward air after a dash attack

Elaborate? Level 1 starts her in turbo mode, level 2 and higher just has her normal AI. This AI is tough, but it is beatable, it is custom AI that has combo strings.

Her level 1 AI is a boss AI, all the other levels of her AI function as normal. So normal AI starts at level 2.

I recently buffed lure light ball! It should have a bit more punch to it. I recommend throwing them out during combos!

@Sear - Do you mean the electric wind god fist or the lure light kick?

In any case, lure light kick needs light meter, and its just pressing attack during stance.

Electric doesnt require meter but you need to input [forward, neutral, down, down forward + attack] during a lure light dash off of lure light stance.

the lure light ball needs to be stronger. It barely has any kill power, and is almost useless as a move.

Not sure if it's a VFX overload thing or a cpu AI script thing, but when Anglara and Saji (Sai's) character are in a match the game crashes.

@neurosis51 EWGF is actually a true frame 1 input! The CPU was coded to use the move a lot and make their punish game really dangerous. The input can only be done during the dspecial dash, and is activated via the same input as a true electric wind god fist in tekken. Because its so tight its not super optimal to use in a real game, but its possible if you get it in your motor memory! Its more of an easter egg if anything lol.

In training mode there is a macro where you can activate it during the dash with taunt button!

it may take some getting used to but her recovery routes available to her more than make up for the cooldown on certain moves, im not willing to remove it when you can easily use dspecial wave steps and orb hopping to get good recovery mixups. She's also currently being looked at by tournament organizers so I wouldn't be changing anything drastic like that anyways atm.

@neurosis51 tatsu cooldown is mostly there to prevent some of the stalling tech from beta testing.

The cool down for her being able to use her forward special shouldn't be a thing either,I could understand that being the case for her fire ball to prevent projectile spam, letting her act immediately after the recovery of the move but not shoot again. I don't think that should be the case for her tatsu.

Also the forward smash seems unfinished and tiny with how small it is, her pokes are stubby as is.
