I'm glad you like it! It's one of the airships I'm especially proud of. The frag spam main guns and kinetic secondary-CIWS are a truly frightening combination. I'm glad you appreciate that I didn't give it cheesy evasion. Most people think it's just pointless not to, but I can't stand it to take advantage of a game mechanic like that so I just build them to cope with enemy fire instead of cheesily dodging it.

I've found with most of my airships that they can usually keep flying until 60% damage or less. Some of them can keep at it until about 30% lol. Doesn't hold true against EMP since I hardly use surge protectors, and occasionally engines can get sniped by railguns or lasers, but against conventional firepower and missiles they should last until too damaged most of the time. HMES Adventure is another especially durable design, and it's just a DD.

I love this ship. The look is what drew me to this as my heavy cruiser option, and it has never disappointed me. It takes on things bigger than it, and wins. It takes on whole fleets by itself, and wins. Only once have I ever needed to pull it back out of a fight and let the escort craft finish the target off. It pulls all of this off without cheaty feeling AI that just dodges everything in the known universe. It stands proud in the squared circle, taking all comers with conventional firepower, and a tough hide. Most air vehicles smack the water at a frighteningly high health percentage. Not this beauty. She uses every ounce of her armor in a fight that is actually fun to watch. I love this vessel. I would marry this vessel. My only complaint is that I don't know how much better the larger Airships of the fleet are, because I have yet to face a threat that this gem cannot handle comfortably.
