Phew! I finally got my own game finished and released on Steam. Now that I have more free time I got that Zomboid itch that needs a'scratchin! I think in hindsight my feelings were more of a me problem now that I have time to breathe. I also know that some people from here supported my game's Early Access and I wanted to say "thank you" somehow. So consider these mods back in action! I've got to get familiar with the new mod procedures and then everyone can expect updates. Maybe even some new mods! Stay alive out there o/

mod literally makes you die of a fever for no reason. you could be sitting in your home, well fed and you would still get a fever over the course of the 2 start days and die.

@Skaidri - For right now you are better off downloading the individual Danger Moodle mods you want to use instead of this all-in-one version. I finally got around to finishing the Danger Moodles: Deadly Infection mod update last night so that one is good to go now. You can find the individual Danger Moodle Mods on here. Just type in Danger Moodle for your search and you'll see the different ones available. Let me know if you try out the newly updated Deadly Infections and it still causes problems.

The mod seems to be broken. Simple scratech or wounds almost always require something to disinfect. It's not that bad as long as you got bitten. I'm using "they knew" mod and I tested it out in debug mode. Each time I get bit and I use zombie virus cure from they knew mod, my character ig getting sicknesslevel everytime my bandage become drity. Tried to heal bite wound for one week, fast forwarding and chaning bandage constantly. The wounds are stacking sickness just because you have them, not bcs they are infected. With this mod you are getting sick just from having wounds.

Yup, I'm getting sicnkeess even tho my wounds has no "infeceted" status. I'ts enough to just get wound without infection and you are sick everytime.

I wanan try this mod out again but idk if the mod is broken or I was doing something wrong prevous time. I remeber each time I got scratch, I was infected almost all the time and infection would reoccur a short time after desinfected. How does it work now cuz it was unplayable before

@MaverickMartyn - Somewhere you can follow along? As soon as I read that I thought of my sad little half-built wix website and my feeble YouTube channel. I've been trying to get back around to sinking some good hours into Zomboid mod videos again but I've been so hyper-focused on my indie projects. That little sting of embarrassment feels healthy lol. I'm gonna use that motivation to do a long-overdue YouTube vid on where we're at and what's to come.

@Bliss - The game's base code has changed a lot since I wrote the Danger Moodles mods, including changes to zombie spawning and how wound infections work. I'm working on a complete overhaul for all the Danger Moodles and Danger Zone mods.

@Bliss ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ its supposed to be "intended behavior" but its honestly really unbalanced. Imagine you scratch your knee and you get queasy from it. It throws a total wrench in gameplay. I guess if you are fat and ugly and playing singleplayer alone by yourself for 8 hours of the day I would see how you can enjoy that sorta function, but honestly from some of the other comments show how this mod can be really unbalanced at times.

I'm getting the Queasy moodle even though my wound is not marked as infected. Is it intended behavior?

Something is off with infection system. Wounds became instantly infected the second bandage turn into dirty bandage. Also healed infection reapear on already treated wounds.
And also treating those wounds even at level 10 last for solid 30 in-game minutes.
Might be a mod conflict but the only mods that could conflict are traits mods.

@OriionKek - that definitely sounds like a mod conflict. There must be another mod on your list that isn't playing nice with this one. It happens sometimes.

for some reason, this mod caused my characters to experience zombie infection symptoms, and then kill them without reanimating. even after i began a new character, they INSTANTLY began experiencing infection symptoms. had to turn this off, since it literally makes my character life spawns 2 days.

you should try your hand at integrating traits into this, like having traits that reduce/increase the rate of insanity from killing zombies

Really cool mod. I love the addition of sanity and infection related sickness. It would be interesting to incorporate one of the literature mods which adds many different kinds of books and replenish sanity by reading a philosophical or religious text or something like that. Perhaps drugs like painkillers and alcohol could also replenish sanity. I am going to check out your JRPG as well. I have been looking for a good one for a while.

Yea the cold part is a little too strong, I like the idea of it playing into sickness but you have to really cram the food in to simply not die and you start dying FAST.

I like the risk of sickness if you let a cold sit too long but it is practically a death sentence if you catch a cold and dont have much food, Please nerf a tiny bit

every time I load a single player save a new moodle keychain appears

I have an error with "Moodle Keychain", every time I leave and enter the server, a new "Moodle Keychain" appears so they start to accumulate, the truth is that my English is not very good and I did not understand the message you gave to Purp, should I disable this mod, and add the separate versions of it, so I don't have the keychain?

I am working hard an update for my indie game. I noticed that the standalone 'disease' version is broken due to a recent update...does that effect this version since it's an 'all in one' sort of deal? I'm asking because my recent save is broken (crashes on load) and I'm wondering what's caused it.

@Purp - Hey Purp. If you want to use the Danger Moodles mods without the Keychain then you can use the separate Danger Moodles mods and deactivate this one. That's the main difference between these is that this version has the Moodle Keychain and the others are just the standalone features that you can pick and choose. Works better for multiplayer servers.

I have run into an issue on my server that causes the moodle key chain to act like a master key and unlock any Interior doors. Is there a way to disable to key chain? What does it do exactly? Does it disable the different parts of the mod for the server or just the certain moodles client side?

Does this mod even work? I installed it, have this moodle key in my inventory every single time i connect to server, I have a bunch of them. But I never saw any of things described in this compilation. Not one. Should I press toggle on all moodles on key? I don't understand.

If it helps, I'm somewhat convinced it might have had something to do with hyperthermia, as in, I've noticed weird spikes and head/body heating up for no reason whatsoever in all instances of the bug, plus it's near consistent during play, even more so than in vanilla
