yea the riposte not triggering on dodge would be realy helpfull and maybe turn it into dmg taken instead of %max hp debuff

Would it be possible for the riposte of Armed to not trigger on a dodge? It's super annoying when your guy doesn't get hit but still explodes.

Rearmament can be used on party members, right? Is the skill itself limited use? Is Bombard not limited to 1 per party?
I am worried about refreshing stuff like Bolster and Emboldening Vapours. In fact, even just one refresh of double Vapours could be overpowered.

The description says that he uses smouldering ruin installed. Does the district need to be in a specific load order relative to the hero? This does not appear to be active in my save.

Hi I'm asking a previously answered question, but am having the same issue. I'm on week 28 in a playthrough and I haven't seen a Bombard on the stagecoach yet. I have the 'Better Stage Coach' mod enabled. It hasn't seemed to upset odds on any classes, so unless this is an exception IDK. Would be awesome to get a town event cos I feel like it's never gonna show up.

I honestly thought that KABOOM was a "suicide bomber vest AOE Ripost" with a self damage.

Love this class- and when paired with The Rudiment he really goes off. Unique mechanic of refreshing abilities- seems to shine in the Farmstead and Night Parade where that's usually a downside.

I really like the concept!

Rearmament is sort of an issue, of course, and the class obviously is a bit OP when spamming 1-per-battle buffs with a teammate; but if you don't do that, you can get really fun results that make the bombard a credit to the team.

Maybe a bit high of HP also (I assume to make you use kaboom, but IDK, the downside's rough).

In the video: he uses rearmament 10 times. Hellpit is a medium length quest which means they could have used the same strategy with another hero (most likely a stress healer) and shard dust 9 times.

Also Rearmament has already been changed since that video to give -speed and -acc for the rest of the battle instead of just 3 rounds.

The "Rearmament" move needs to be reworked into something that doesn't refresh limited skills or at least have limited uses itself so you gotta bring along 2 bombards to use it infinitely, because as it is, the bombard can turn any other class's one-time use battle long buffs and turn them into reusable forever stat ramping. As seen in this youtube video where this player spams the bombard's refresh on the exterminator to easily kill one of the hardest DD bosses ever created https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyHNFn88fpQ

you could easily take away the number of uses too and it would not be overpowered whatsoever. make the debuff max hp less crippling in ammount and length. then he may be fun AND decent.

very fun idea. But absolutely trash in the current form. Make that Max hp debuff not stack, make it for the running battle. I use kaboom once and the dude is on 20 hp for like 4 battles. Not usable. One crit kills him. The Kaboom is nice, so is the riposte (I have the nice reposte damage item) but this dude sadly only kills himself. Totally not worth damaging 4 enemies while killing your hero. You need to kill hundreds. Not 4.

the idea is good, but it is not clear why to make such a strong weakening on Kaboom. If the enemy hits him and loses the charge, why give him more and weakening making him even more vulnerable

- Changed Reinforced Front Plate (very rare) to common
- Lowered protection of Reinforced Front Plate from 15% to 10%
- Changed White Phosphorous Flare (common) to very rare
- Changed White Phosphorous Flare's mark to only work on a single target

- Fixed description of mod so breaching charge has the right positions on it.

And what about randomly getting another action? I see there's supposed to be a trinket that does that, but I didn't have any trinkets equipped and the bombard would randomely get a 2nd action when the riposte was triggered

It simulate self damage in a way that scale with level. You can't do % self damage, only % HP debuff. You can clear it with herb btw

Why is the -30% max HP from the riposte a stacking debuff that lasts 25 rounds? Meaning it can go below 100% and lasts an incredibly long time? Is that intentional?

And why does triggering the riposte sometimes give the bombard another action?
