Or just using undiggable walls, but yeah that does sound like a neat idea. But I did already think about having a last level where the imagined failed heist is revisited with the whole crew back together and have it be "crawling with more security since the incident." But it might be a cool idea to have a "prequel"-mission with the same layout and less difficulty. Thanks for the idea.

That's assuming I ever make it that far, I will make no promises, for I am a weak-willed human being!

i think that it should have a boxed in first mission where you cant play as the mole to replecate the failed hiest!

Just remember that the best way to learn to make the view nice is to keep testing the map over and over because you only know what it looks like when you actually play it.

Well thanks. Actually i understood that the picture created was from the south side AFTER having done 2 maps. ^^ But there are still WIP. Also I'll stop "spamming the comments" for today :P

The "Lights"-section in the editor has a few lighted billboards that show up as large signs on the preview-picture. Every time you see a big graphical billboard on a preview-picture, it's one of those placed so that it looks like it belongs on that building.

The building previews are generated from the south side of the map automatically. I purposefully went back and forth between the editor and the level start to see what the game visualized the placements as and kept going until it looked like it could be an actual building. It's the same for every preview picture, I don't think it's possible to change it. It's incredibly hard to master but it's satisfying as hell and it also makes people more interested. Even the potted plans in the windows are visible.

The background image is placed by the game when you place an Environment-script on the map.

Well, like I said in my very first message, i'm curious to see other missions you'll add :P Also the building on the page before the mission start is really well designed :O Are you only building it in the game or did you change this picture with something else ?

Well yes, that's what really got me into this in the first place, and what would be prevalent with the other characters, assuming I get around to making maps for them as well. But I wanted to start with the original "leader" of the group, and the one I'm more comfortable with.

It's more of a gimmick-campaign, that way. People usually don't care about solo-experiences but I think they're a lot of fun if the maps are made that way.

Well at least the Lookout's special abilities are really usefull here, because in the most part of the map you need to find a "break" in guards patrol to avoid danger. Also you have to play the map several times to find nice hidden places, because bushes aren't frequent too. So you are trying to find places where guards don't go, and on my last try I found a lot more of those magic places :P

The problem is that when I make maps, I test them a few dozen times but that still doesn't change the fact that it's me playing. And Lookout incidentally is the character I'm most comfortable with because she doesn't have much skills, she's just purely sneaky.

I ask these things because I honestly don't know if it's that hard or impossible to beat. I thought I tweaked most of the difficult parts easy enough after testing but I might've been wrong.

Well you may just go though the level, take backpacks and heal up, and then go back up to collect missing money ect... Also i didn't say your map was bad, just it was hard '^^ I really have difficulties playing Lookout and Pickpocket, so that's probably just me. If you want to make a hard level it's your choice ;)

There already are backpacks. I just made sure to not make them too spread out. With health kits it's the same thing. There are two on the first floor and also a few disguises.

I could go so far as to add more health kits (but delete one of the two on the first floor) but I don't want to give the player too many advantages in this. Satisfactory?

Well, maybe not. But at least maybe 1 Health Kit per floor ? :) Also there isn't deguisments and/or backpacks in the 2 first floors, so maybe add just some so collecting money has something usefull ? :/

Actually you only have 1 Character, so 1 life, so you musn't die. If there isn't health packs you have to keep your health as much as possible (quite hard with doctors). If youre rushing to the exit it isn't very hard, but it's nearly impossible to collect all the money.

Yes, I am constantly getting dragged around with "too easy" and "too hard" so I just make maps that I can actually test throughout. As for the health kits, there are some but I really did want to make the map difficult. Thanks for the kind words.

I tested the Map, the Story looks great, but the map is a bit difficult ^^ Also we are in a Hospital and i didn't see any Health Kit :O But I am very curious about what the other maps will look like. Keep working, this is a great project :)

This mission was pretty awesome, there were a ton of cool ways to escape the hospital.

Seemed like you were pretty screwed if the alarm went off, due to all the crossbow doctors, but that's a good thing because it encourages you to use stealth more instead of just running through the level.
