I feel like it'd make it even better if the voicelines had a combine-esque vox applied to them, so it sounds more like it's actually the combine saying it

They shouldn't unless they are for some reason reading the combine's part of the script. In whatever case, I can't do anything about it.

Unfortunately, you can not really do unique voices for soldiers with what you can do with sentences.txt sadly. I would've done that if I could.

Great mod, my only peeve, is that the soldiers lack any consistency in their voice-lines whatsoever. I'll hit a Combine Soldier, causing them to grunt like a Scout, before they call out for Medic like a Demoman, and get killed while screaming like a Pyro. I don't actually know if it would be possible for there to be any designated voice-lines implemented in the future, but either way, it's a pretty good addon.

I think something close to the TF2 robot voices might be an idea. Especially for the Combine Elites who are supposed to be more synth than human.

Might be something I'll consider doing if a bit of experimenting goes well. We shall see

if you ever do the combine-ish effect on their voicelines tho, make it a separate addon, being able to choose is best for everyone

If you followed what I showed through the video it should work. Now if you have multiple voice replacement mods that also need a sentences.txt file you'll have to pick one or the other because there can only be one addon replacing the default sentences.txt.

I've set up the folders and the scripts and text files, installed the mod, but it's not working - the same has happened for every other voice replacement mod I use now. Did something happen?
