@co'
Yes, "Common Sense", "bikinitools", "What can i craft?" and "DebugMenu" entries show up (to name a few examples)
co`  [author] 22 Mar @ 10:40am
@kev_cat: There's no auto-move in this mod, it's from vanilla I think
co`  [author] 22 Mar @ 10:35am
aR, Dr. Quackers M.D.: Can you see menu entries from other mods when "organizedCategories: Core" is enabled?

any mod like the one aR mention or any mod thats touch similar things is a risk to use with this mod. I have the same issue
kev_cat 15 Mar @ 2:47pm
wanted to start a fire in front of a building where all the zombies where piling at the front door, i got the lighter and paper, and i clicked in the lobby area a few feet away from me and a few more feet from the door
when i clicked start a fire, lighter, and the paper my character fucking walked outside and let the hoard in, why the auto move man i was having fun ;-;

Theres some kind of conflict between this mod and "organizedCategories: Core"
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3370707195

No crash or error, but if organizedCategories is activated "set fire" does not show up, load order doesnt change anything. Cheers.

@alt.session: Thanks for the heads-up
co`  [author] 30 Jan @ 12:06pm
New release available to handle disposable lighters ;)
alt.session 28 Jan @ 5:52pm
can confirm this wont work with disposable lighters, only matches and the b41 zippo
alt.session 28 Jan @ 5:23pm
i have this mod activated and for some reason it doesnt work, i dont have an option to set anything on fire despite having the items to do so- might it be because i use disposable lighters?
alt.session 26 Jan @ 1:55pm
yayyyyyyyyyyy ty
co`  [author] 26 Jan @ 1:44pm
New release available, it's compatible with B42. Enjoy ;D
co`  [author] 26 Jan @ 1:43pm

co`  [author] 8 Aug, 2024 @ 2:58am
@StormFather I confirm this, I never been able to figure out how to propagate the fire to other players :/
StormFather 7 Aug, 2024 @ 7:09pm
Still seems to work currently, though sadly on in SP.
Born Of Birch 11 Apr, 2024 @ 7:09pm

Ya multiplayer other players cant see the fire and the fire burns out really fast even when I light up several bodies
Squigee 1 Jul, 2022 @ 11:40pm
Wow i spent wayyy too long looking for this thanks to the name, thought it was called "Burn anything" or "Light fires anywhere"
mezz 2 Jun, 2022 @ 6:52am
Minor QoL improvement I think would be cool: Make the fire be "fake" for the first few seconds. When laying a fire, it can happen easily that you accidentally set yourself fully ablaze immediately, which is frustrating, and doesn't quite make sense if you think about it (how does lighting a small book on fire immediately immolate me).

A short window of time in which the fire doesn't actually deal damage and you can get to a safe distance would be a fix for this issue.
AleksCrauser 25 Apr, 2022 @ 9:01am
Hi, great mod! Can you make another one that completely burns the whole map. Something like another survival challange)
Hobo Jack 4 Apr, 2022 @ 2:00am
One lighter to rule them all, I just burned a forest to clear an horde. Best mod and not so overpowered. When you know a cigarette can start a fucking disaster during summer on some areas. Hey Cali!
Dr. Quackers M.D. 25 Feb, 2022 @ 6:33pm
Is there a mod that makes fire more dangerous. Current fire is pathetic....
Dirty Wizard 8 Feb, 2022 @ 7:55pm
I agree that they shouldn't be super flammable, but even in the vanilla game it's a real pain to burn corpses because it's not clear which square they're lying on. So you'll start a fire on a pile of corpses and then only half of them will burn, requiring you to light 1 or 2 more fires.

Would there be a way to maybe allow us to drop fuel (like paper or branches and stuff) on all the relevant squares and have it catch fire when an adjacent square is lit? That way would be more realistic since IRL you'd pile up a load of corpses with wood amongst them, douse them with petrol, and then just light it in one spot to burn it all.
co`  [author] 8 Feb, 2022 @ 6:56pm
yeah I guess I should give more love to this mod, been so busy with other things. Thanks for letting me know, I'll have a look
StormFather 8 Feb, 2022 @ 5:55pm
small bug, in multiplayer other players cannot see fires you light.
co`  [author] 22 Jan, 2022 @ 10:40am
Dirty Wizard: About making zombies more flammable, I'm thinking it makes sense the way it is currently, because I don't think bodies burn that well IRL
Dirty Wizard 21 Jan, 2022 @ 4:41pm
@Kai, I also died this way the first time using this mod. Try using the "walk to" function to tell you which exact tile you're setting alight. Then stand next to that tile (instead of on top of it) and set the fire normally.
Dirty Wizard 21 Jan, 2022 @ 4:41pm
Fantastic QOL mod, this is part of my essential mods list, it should be part of the vanilla game, thanks for this.

Can I suggest making zombies more flammable (if that's possible)? Currently you have to light multiple fires to burn all the zombies in a pile if they take up more than 1 square.
co`  [author] 8 Jan, 2022 @ 9:40am
Kai: hmm I don't remember having this issue. Happened to me once or twice to set myself on fire but I was on the middle of the square. I'll check it up when I have some spare time
Kai 8 Jan, 2022 @ 12:11am
Nice work. A small request would be to make the initial fire tile not set the player alight right away.
I could just be missing something obvious but i keep setting myself alight along with whatever else I'm lighting. A second or two delay before it can actually harm the player would be a nice touch if possible.
Bubbles 1 Jan, 2022 @ 8:13pm
im not to sure why but the fire wont spread. i set couches on fire and wood chairs in houses and the fire never spreads i checked if fire spread was checked on and it is, does the fire spread in multiplayer?
co`  [author] 29 Dec, 2021 @ 9:48am
Mr TKBear 29 Dec, 2021 @ 8:08am
hello, can you add the ability to also use ripped clothing to start fire?
Stormtrooper 28 Dec, 2021 @ 2:16pm
Soooo... Anyone figured out how to remove the infinite fire?
SAGNUTZ 26 Dec, 2021 @ 7:45pm
FINALLY, those smug trees will be taken down a few pegs
东方彩虹🌈 26 Dec, 2021 @ 4:47pm
great man
Spiralt 26 Dec, 2021 @ 2:06am
hey i can finally make me in project zomboid :)
co`  [author] 25 Dec, 2021 @ 8:57pm
[PCC] Lyus: If you use the same saved game where you lighted the fire, then yeah installing the update won't remove the fire already started. It should be good for any new game though.
Lyus 25 Dec, 2021 @ 7:47pm
well it's updated, maybe it's bug because I used it before the update came out? i already tried removing fire even with cheat menu, but it doesnt want to erase T-T
co`  [author] 25 Dec, 2021 @ 5:56pm
[PCC] Lyus: Sounds like you have an old version of the mod. Latest as of today is 0.0.5. Check in your mod list, next to the mod name.
Lyus 25 Dec, 2021 @ 4:24pm
I tried using it to burn bodies, but it doesn't spread, and it never goes out either... it's been there for a week on top of the pile of bodies.
co`  [author] 24 Dec, 2021 @ 2:25pm
☥Rayne Darkwave☥: for me if I light the fire near a house wall it will burn the wall, one out of two times approx the fire will spread to the inside. Also the fire spread seems to be dependent on what kind of tile you set the fire on. If I light a fire inside a hoose with wooden floor, it usually burn down the whole house
