you should add some arms that work with the halo 3 odst armor, i use your sleevless and tactical arms alot but they have a gap when used with that armor

ah thats a shame
Deadput  [author] 8 May, 2023 @ 7:28pm
I can't with this mod, the original required mods aren't cooked either and problems happen when the assets of one mod require another but one is cooked while the other isn't.
xxPYROxxJONESxx 4 May, 2023 @ 5:49am
please cook these delicious assets
Hel's Angel 11 Mar, 2023 @ 5:07pm
Man, thank you so much !
Deadput  [author] 11 Mar, 2023 @ 4:06pm
I'll consider it if I get back into modding, no promises though.
Hel's Angel 8 Mar, 2023 @ 12:21am
Can you also add the balaclava from the original mod as a face prop ? I absolutely love the ODST helmet you made but without the balaclava they just expose the neck for no reason.

Balaclava from other mod have tons of clip issue. I know that is true, I go through 260 page of steam mod to check every balaclava mod, they all clip with ODST helmet.
Deadput  [author] 6 Sep, 2022 @ 12:28pm
Still don't know how to do that, hence why the colorable visors take patterns.
Vegeta002 4 Sep, 2022 @ 10:13am
OK, no Jetpacks then.

Then is there any chance you could modify the ODST armour so that the highlights for the tinted versions (like helmet stripes, visor, etc) use the tattoo colour instead of sharing the undersuit colour?
Deadput  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 6:45pm
Halo Reach ones I mean
Deadput  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 6:45pm
There is no Jetpack cosmetics in Xcom friendly format thus I can't include them.
Vegeta002 27 Aug, 2022 @ 8:22am
The Torso parts that have been left out of the localisation file work when I add the names in, but it would be nice if the mod included them by default.

Also, it would be nice to have a Jet Pack version of the torso to go along with the backpack/radio and as a stand-alone in the torso deco category.
Deadput  [author] 4 May, 2022 @ 10:47am
If I go back to the mod (it's not a huge priority for Xcom 2 mod plans I want to do but I've thought about seeing if there were more new stuff I could add) then I'll take a look to see if I did so, if not I'll add them in an update but I'm not sure if it will work for sure.
Delta-118 4 May, 2022 @ 9:13am
Weird... oh well then. Thanks anyway!
Deadput  [author] 4 May, 2022 @ 3:29am
Not when I use them, might of changed since but even during the development of the mod I didn't have them show up.
Delta-118 3 May, 2022 @ 7:34pm
The OG Reach redux *does* have part names for the torsos though.
Deadput  [author] 3 May, 2022 @ 5:21pm
Can't recall at the moment if I didn't include them or if there's just an issue with the display.
Deadput  [author] 3 May, 2022 @ 5:21pm
There are no names for the torsos, just like the OG mod that's required for this one.
Delta-118 3 May, 2022 @ 4:50pm
I don't seem to be getting part names for these, and guessing at what "torso 81" is can be kinda frustrating. Any advice or help you can give would be appreciated.
Venator 3 Apr, 2022 @ 1:56pm
Can't thank you enough, there's not a lot of options for Predator armor-tier cosmetics that fit my taste, these fit perfectly and they bring back fond memories of the golden era of Halo! Well done, can finally blast some aliens in LWOTC in style!
Deadput  [author] 16 Feb, 2022 @ 1:25am
Yeah I gave up on that part before I released the mod since patterns are tied to primary tint and not secondary, it's one of those things I was considering revisiting once I had the time and will to go back to this mod since a couple things like that do need to be polished up a little.

So the answer for now is just don't give em patterns, currently it's the same thing like the mod I originally took the helmets from.

Note this is only for the new helmets that originate from the Reach Spartan armor mod.
Aoykav 15 Feb, 2022 @ 5:10pm
im running into a problem with the visor color on the helmets being linked to both primary and secondary colors. could you link it to the tattoo color so i can customize the visor separate from the primary and secondary colors?
Deadput  [author] 2 Feb, 2022 @ 9:25pm
Wouldn't know, I've used this mod with Templar Gear and the localization was just fine.
RAVVSlathotep 2 Feb, 2022 @ 5:44pm
A question: I'm trying to use this mod with Templar Gear and it seems to cause a clash where whenever the Templar Gear is active, all Reach items end up having "Templar Powered Medium Reach....." in the name instead of what's in the localisation. Could you point me in the right direction for me to try to solve this?
Deadput  [author] 17 Jan, 2022 @ 5:48am
A screenshot would be helpful to determine the issue.
SuperNerd 17 Jan, 2022 @ 4:21am
When using this mod i get a lot of empty selections where body parts are completely removed, any idea what issue it could be or how to fix it?
🎖xXStretcHXx🎖 2 Jan, 2022 @ 1:45pm
Cat ears when?
Deadput  [author] 26 Dec, 2021 @ 3:18pm
Yeah I don't know why it does that, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't for me.
Vegeta002 26 Dec, 2021 @ 12:37pm
I've been playing around with this to make ODST's and I've been getting odd behaviour from three items in this mod, specifically "HUL Left", "HUL Right", and "HUL Combo" (and ONLY the Lower Face versions).

If I hover the mouse over one of them then move it over another, the model doesn't change to show the new part. The name displayed when I select it is the correct one, meaning it's not a case of selecting the wrong part by accident.

I don't know if it's a game thing or a mod thing, but it happens consistently and nothing else in the mod behaves that way. No other mods or vanilla parts do this either.
Vegeta002 24 Dec, 2021 @ 10:14am
Understandable.
Deadput  [author] 24 Dec, 2021 @ 9:24am
I might of forgotten to add them, having to add localization for around 16 armors means it's easy to make errors during the process, if so I'll try to fix it when I fix the other localization when I put in a meaningful update
Vegeta002 24 Dec, 2021 @ 2:32am
I seem to be missing Localization on the "Powered Templar" torso pieces.
Deadput  [author] 23 Dec, 2021 @ 9:27am
As a general note: I'll fix the localization on those couple of shoulders when I have more to add/edit in an update, since it's just names and not effecting the cosmetics themselves it's not a high priority.
dmc32 22 Dec, 2021 @ 1:58pm
wow, missed this one, very nice add-on's for the Halo crew, especially the arms and shoulders, good look.
🎖xXStretcHXx🎖 21 Dec, 2021 @ 7:58pm
Love u
Vegeta002 21 Dec, 2021 @ 11:40am
@Deadput - The Template mod can help replace vanilla weapons with the existing Halo ones, but can't do anything about the majority of the stuff that modders never even made (like the UNSC Grenade Launcher, SPNKR, Spartan Laser, and almost everything Covenant), or the weapons being made using using the early 360-version of Reach rather than the modern Reach.
Vegeta002 21 Dec, 2021 @ 11:40am
@Avrellian Which I addressed in my post ("the Reach weapons also use the original one and is missing most of the weapons").

Those all use the original XBox 360 version of the Reach weapons and half the stuff (like the UNSC Grenade Launcher, SPNKR, Spartan Laser, and almost everything Covenant) is missing.
Deadput  [author] 21 Dec, 2021 @ 11:02am
Alternatively you could use the ghost template mod that has all of them but that would require setting things up manually in config files with mods like Iridar's Template Creator.

When it comes to modeling ability I can only use stuff already ported to Xcom 2's format, aka I can't rig stuff up from the groundup.

The Pelican stuff is out of my modding knowledge sorry, would be cool to see.
ΑΒΡΞΛΛΙΑΝ 21 Dec, 2021 @ 6:51am
@Tyler Chambers So there is already a weapon from Halo Reach
True, to get it, you need to download as many as three mods)
[WOTC] [H5] Memories of Reach: Jorge's Chaingun
[Wotc] Halo Weapons Medley
[WOTC] Halo: Reach Magnum
Vegeta002 21 Dec, 2021 @ 5:36am
Out of curiosity, any chance of a Reach weapon pack or Pelican from the MCC version of Reach?

The only Pelican we have is the CE Pelican (the original one, not the Anniversary version), while the Reach weapons also use the original one and is missing most of the weapons.
Collard Green Jedi 20 Dec, 2021 @ 11:09pm
Aw dude sick, this is exactly what I was hoping for! Marine arms with psi veins was something I was needing, this is perfect! Now my entire team can keep the same aesthetic
Wet Dog Squad 20 Dec, 2021 @ 4:27pm
>Mark V Spartan cosmetics kitbashed onto Marine armor with XCOM 2 forearms
yes yes yes, yes please!
Dr.Optimal 20 Dec, 2021 @ 4:19pm
Hey man great work this is an awesome mod, love seeing the available options for the Reach armours getting extended. If you do have any plans to add further to this it would be great to get a few non tint-able pale versions of the Reach trooper helmets, to be able to copy the look of the regular army troopers in Reach.
Deadput  [author] 20 Dec, 2021 @ 10:14am
I'll add some more screenshots at a later date, there are quite a few options after all!
