Head cannon/Justification: Combine soldiers behave differently due to their augmentations still being operational, meaning if technology was still active on the user, the headcrab zombie would behave differently.

The H.E.V suit is more than just metal, with an advanced weapon selection and much more, it almost certainly counts as a machine rather than a suit. Basically think of wearable tank armour outfitted with motors.

The P.C.V suit is backwards compatible with H.E.V chargers and is built by Black Mesa, therefore P.C.V suits are for more than just durable bullet proof vests. There for they allow soldiers comparable feats to an H.E.V operative.

Similar to how zombines are made, the P.C.V's abilities allow for extra mobility and agility in a zombie marine.

@UsedTissue the first zombie marine in Power Up because of medical dropper attached to him. If you don't mean him but other zombie marines, then you most likely installed it wrong or you have model replacement for zombie marine. Do you have one?

First of all for those who wonder, this addon (and the other two guard and hev aggressive zombie but not the bmce one) still work wonder and fully compatible with newest version of bmce. The only note that the bmce revised hecu remastered edition mod (or any other mod that replace the marine zombie model) will overwrite the model file of this mod with theirs. Otherwise banger mod, i got real suprised by dem aggressive zombies for a few times when im not paying attention.

@plague of shadows I'm aware of this, it's just only that one zombie marine in Power Up for some reason. I believe it's because of medical drop counter attached to him. Nothing I can do about it, other zombie grunts are fine.

i don't know if this is on this mods end, or if it is caused by a different mod, but there is a bug where the zombie marine in power up is normal until it takes damage

This is small addon makes the zombie marine make much more sense considering that my vision about the zombie marine was possibly that it was pretty much a zombine, yet, it didn't have it's animations sadly, so thank you!

Wow! Such a small mod and it makes a big difference, those dang zombie marines are now more threatening and creepier, great work!

@Arrowheads, arrowheads you are probably right. The thing is that on my end they do stand straight stun when being shot in the left leg but they do lean on the leg when being shot in the right hand. I can't understand the logic behind it.

The issue I was referring to isn't the probability of the animation playing, it's the animation itself. On my end the animation is not like the original one, I believe it's simply not prepared to do that original animation considering zombines don't have an animation for getting shot in the leg.

I don't know how modding this went but I believe fixing the problem would be possible by porting the original "leg got shot" animation to the pack of zombine animations

@Arrowheads, arrowheads yes. Just checked, HEVs do very often lean on the leg. However, with my Aggressive HEV zombie mod the possibility of playing this animation reduced (but you can still see it, if you're lucky). Sorry, I'm afraid I can't change it. Though maybe it's the HEV suit gives additional protection to them making harder them to stun.

I've only tested on HEV but I assumed that both NPCs shared the same animations as per logic.

I'll go and test it anyway.

There was no leg leaning animations for me after multiple attempts to proc that animation, which is normally very present in the original HEV animations.

The stun is there but the animation feels... Broken? They pretty much stand straight. At least it happens with the HEV zombie.

@Arrowheads, arrowheads they have special animation for being shot in the leg. All I did was just adding zombine anims, they still have other animations. So you can still stun them. I didn't remove anything. Just tested it.

Shame that the attack animations aren't different, and if you shoot them in the leg, they don't have their special animation for being shot in the leg
