You need to use pack file manager to open the mod file, then navigate to db/main_unit_tables and change value in campaign_cap column to -1

Yeah the cap is still 5 for some reason, and I never get the battery unit cap up.

Bug: Unit capped at 5 per unit. Just running SFO and this mod.

so most blackshard upkeep is around 600gold +? Is that just me or it's intended that way?
And also, do they get buff through technology?

ahh by changing weapon u meant weapon str. Ok then I did make a new missile weapon however that might mess with save games. SO, they will have the same weapon but the shielded one will be a bit more expensive

I feel very bad about saying this, but the blackshards are still unbalanced. Shielded variant is still better in every way as they now outrange the shieldless variant.
How it should be to be balanced would be:
Shielded (125 range)
Shieldless (140) range. But their damage should stay the way it is now.

Charde defence cut from the swordsmen and the missile weapons ofthe shielded and unshielded arbalests changed.

Few things that might make this a bit more balanced.
1: Spearmen and swordsmen gotta swap their 'charge defence' so the spearmen get perfect charge defence instead of the swordsman.
2: Blackshards should have their missle damage swapped so the shieldless variant deals more damage to compensate for the lack of defence the shielded variant gets.
that's about it, works great otherwise.

Hi, this is a question about compatibility with another mod, but I was wondering if you know how the units added by this mod are effected by their respective buffs.

I use the Legendary diversity (Dark Elf) mod, so Malekith is Supposed to buff dark shards, but they don't seem to apply to units added by this mod. I'm trying to figure out where the problem comes from and was wondering if you had any ideas.

The shieldless variant from Blackshards may need some buff as they have less dmg than their shielded counterpart and both of them less range than darkshards. They also lack the tech and red skill buffs that darkshard usually get so they kinda need big stats increase so theres a reason to pick them.

I'm not sure. Maybe if I get enough time I may make some more submods but I need to find a way to make them "unique" somehow. Which is really the hardest part of making those submods.

My God, you updated this mod! I really appreciate it! Incidentally, the author of the original SFO patch added a fixed capacity of 5 (including dragon Legion and Phoenix Legion and so on). Is it possible for you to update other low Legion mods?

I have a question, how are these units effected by unit caps? The new building chain doesn't show any increase. Should I be replaces my public order buildings with these and sacrifice the buffs?

did the thing for the repeaters. The greatswords have 3 less MD and -10 WS +AP damage. I'm not sure if I should make them exclusive to malekith or give some bonus to malekith himself so they are not changed on that fron yet

The same could be said for the blackshard units, there is little reason to recruit the shieldless variant as it has no benefits over the shielded version, a simple solution would be to increase the shieldless variants damage output or range similarly to the regular darkshard versions in sfo.

yeah I was thinking about making them also more expensive to make them ONLY good for Malekith. Maybe I'll make every black guard of naggarond a bit more expensive and add malekith a bit upkeep reduction or something. And thx for the commends!

Really really cool and thematic mod that i have been wanting for quite some time, all very well balanced too and not gamebreaking in the least.
However i would probably tweak the stats of the greatsword variant, as they outclass the har ganeth executionor in every way, maybe reduce their attack and melee stats a little as they make up for it with armor and health anyway.

Hi flamdaddy. Can you change the murderous mastery from blackshards to prowess ? Mastery gives them more melee damage and prowess ranged.They also have -15 less range that darkshards

sorry mate but Kaguya allready working on individual imperial knightly orders submods and we have sigmars heirs. I'm already drowning in submods, I won't be looking at a badly outdated mod that adds a few units that are probably already being added by bigger mods. BUT, I'll be updating my modlist soon and you can take a look at that when I finish it to see if it satisfies your hunger for more empire stuff!
