Glitterhoof is dead indeed, Unofficial Patch is much better, author is doing an amazing job. I should decommission this from the workshop, but I like the thumbnail too much =P

I don't know if this is a bug or feature, but at some point after Royal Court was released, all children have had their skills capped. This results in either a lot of wasted points or wasted time removing the skills when building custom child characters.

Hey mate I've found a bug in a trigger used by the ducal and kingdom holy war CBs, I've included a fix in my Hostile Struggles mod, but it may be a good candidate for this as in certain circumstances it will prevent ducal and kingdom holy wars, and some won't want the features of my mod. I've seen someone posting about this on discord. No idea what's causing it though, and given the nature of the bug, there are good chances it's caused by something in code, rather than in script, in which case I can't do anything about it

@will I use Notepad++ to find my way around.
Run a search for "Collateral Damage" with "*english.yml" as the filter, targeting your ck3/game directory, That'll give you the eventID that you can search for to get the actual event.
So for this case, the above search will net you "feast_default.6351"
Searching for "feast_default.6351" with "*.txt" as the filter will point you towards two files "feast_on_actions.txt" and "feast_default_events.txt"
The first determines which events are selected and the second is the logic the events follow.
In the random events list, all events have a weighting of 1-50 (average 18) except for feast_default.6351, and feast_default.6501 which have a weighting of 10000 and 2000 respectively. (guess which event feast_default.6501 is)
Toning those numbers down should fix it.
about being invited to another feast, I suspect you are being invited but aren't seeing the inivte event because you are leading an army or are at another activity.

Maybe you can help me troubleshoot. I'm having an issue with feasts in which I only get the same two events every feast "Collateral Damage" and "The Innuendo." This happens without mods. Can you tell me what file determines what events are triggered? Incidentally, I have also never been invited to another ruler's feast.

@Stik I've found two easy fixes if you want to add them in.
First is Rivals in Agreement Diplomacy Challenge is Reversed [forum.paradoxplaza.com].
The second is CK III - poem sending action display % is wrong [forum.paradoxplaza.com].
Both have the fix posted in the bug report replies.

@schokobertie savegame is fine, this mod is only replacing vanilla stuff with some script fixes, so it's seamless from a player's PoV

Comme tu es francophone, je me permets de te demander en français si tu peux envisager de corriger les actions liées au trait "poète". Il semble que la chance qu'un poème que l'on envoie soit bien reçu décroissent à mesure que le score en diplomatie du destinataire est plus bas que le nôtre, et non pas plus haut comme cela devrait être (puisque la chance de réussite est déterminée par un défi).

New fixes:
- Fixed events from the Train Commander marshal task not firing
- Error in culture_emergence_events.txt
- GUI error on the Create Claimant Faction button

Removed fixes:
- Granting a title to a member of your dynasty no longer destroys its runestone
- "The Northerner Menace" event is now prevented from firing if the war has been peaced out in the first 30 days
- Vassals no longer have +100 reason to join claimant faction if they are the de jure vassal of their liege, instead they get +100 reason to join if they are the de jure vassal of the claimant

From the 1.5.1 patch notes:
- Fixed characters living in foreign realms being invited to feasts, and having such a good time they never go back

So that's settled =)

To update, I don't think it's an unlanded guests trigger issue, my attempts to change the guest/courtier triggers and modifiers didn't work. I've also noticed the stuck guests (my daughters who are married to vassal kings) are in two locations, they appear in my ex-feast royal court and the royal court of their kingly liege husbands home, and also their location reads as "At <Husband/Liege's> Court at <My Ex-Feast Court Location>". I think it may be a hardcode issue where the characters are in two places at once.

I thought the stuck feast guest bug might have something to do with the unlanded guests being treated as guests of the feast court and failing the guest_allowed_to_leave_trigger from \scripted_triggers\00_courtier_guest_management_triggers.txt, probably because they get recruited as an agent into a scheme at the feast court, but I haven't been able to test it.

To explain a bit: effects to move/return characters to their court don't seem to work, which is why I think it's a code bug. But I did manage to fire another feast, and the daughter in law went there just fine. Characters aren't locked in the feast activity, they're just locked in location, but available for most things it seems.
I'm going to try making a "return to court" activity fired from script when the feast ends and see if that can move everyone back to where they should be.

Any chance to fix paradox's feast bug? My court is feast-free for the last 50 years :(
It's pretty easy to replicate - just hold a feast and see your married daughters and your mayors direct vassals stay at your court after the feast.

@will There are 3 special feast event chains, but they're rather uncommon, so it might be a while before you run into one. I can't remember off the top of my head the exact odds of getting one of those, but if I remember correctly it's less than 1 in 10 feasts.

I installed this mod but I'm still not getting any feast events other than opinion-boosting conversations, shy trait events, and ran-out-of-ale events. Is that normal? Are there other feast events that I can trigger somehow?

Tbh the bug report isn't easy to work with. I usually fix bugs that throw errors in the error.log, when I stumble upon them, and I know where to look for what's broken, not starting from a behavior I have to replicate. But I'll take a look whether anything stands out.
