Is it normal that the Assault Plate Armor attached to the neck?

This looks so stupid at the neck.

@Max I'm a big fan of your cooked remasters series. Perhaps you would be interested in remastering Aliens: Colonial Marines Armor? I'm not expecting anything I am appreciative of the mods you have already cooked. I just thought I would bring it to your attention as a possible candidate. Here is the direct link... https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2255361558 Thank you!

@Jess
Yes. Edit this mod's XComContent.ini. Comment out the lines that add bodyparts to any other tier but powered.

Is there a way to restrict the armors to tier 3?

Any version of this with an actual neck armor? All does hard-core looking armor only to get shot on the neck kida ruins how great it looks. lore wise.

Any plans to cook the Classic X-Com Armor? That mod is both huge and essential.

Thx for making it into one mod. I do find most of the torsos weird tho

I run about 600 mods (not all at the same time lol). I have to say, the service that you are providing here is one of the most necessary in the community right now. I have a gaming laptop with 16 GB of ram, and it runs buttery smooth with no mods. However, once I hit around 4GB of mod loading, it just bogs down a great deal. Some of the largest mods here (besides major overhauls) are cosmetic things that are just way overinflated. I would LOVE if you could get with 360 aeronautica and cook their work. I love their stuff, I just wish it didn't create such a performance hit on my computer.

Thanks for this repack. Asides from filesize, is there any difference in other aspects?

Also Thanks Stenchfury for the original mod. And also for your tennogen stuff. I still wear that Warlust on my Rhino Prime to this day

For cosmetics? no.

Question: Is there drawbacks for cooking the assets?
Skyfall 29 Dec, 2021 @ 12:01pm
Thanks for this. Loved his mods.

The game'll throw a missing DLC warning if you take out the original two mods and use this instead if you're in an on-going camapign, but as far as that, they're all set-up the same internally. All the body part template names are unchanged from the originals, so your soldiers should be perfectly fine when making the switch.

can we unsub to the originals?

Are the part names of the 2022 version and the original version the same? If it is the same, I can use the 2022 version directly in my old saves.:VBCOOL:
