After IE update I'm getting crashes with this guy that I and the RMPF checks cannot track down. I will need to rewrite the database entries to get it working again.

The port for this is basically done already. For WH3 it will have a better matching design for the gunner platform , more "Master Engineer" - like pilot and gunner, and the pilot will be animated.

using colussus in campaign, wow by far my fav unit out of all the factions.. i just wish each of my legandary lords could have a colossus in their army, cause its just that awesome an should be in hammer3

I can Confirm this mod still works in both Empire campaign for MORTAL EMPIRES and custom battles, there's is another mod as'well that removes the unit cap, Three things are needed in order to acquire this unit in the campaign 1 is too own Nuln, 2 is too build the Gunnery, 3 is the Academy. the Unit is strong against amassed soldiers since its cannons are like a shotgun. but the unit will do very poorly in melee so stick a speak wall around it. when it gets below 10% you can just turn it into a skaven nuke cannon basically and alt f4 everything around it.

I'll do that. He has a minimum range only so he's not firing visibly through the Colossus itself.

I'll see if any other modders would know how I can make the... ahem... secondary cannon functional.

The story on that, btw, what that when I was first pulling the Steam Tank model apart and remapping it, I moved those pieces out of the way but didn't delete them. They lingered about 30 feet in front of the model over weeks of working on it until the childish joke occurred to me and I kept them.

Okay, thanks for the response! It's a cool idea, but annoying that it's not working. Maybe lean more into the dude on top for a close range response?

I know it will look a little sus, but I did notice a turret below the pilot, so, maybe that as well?

I have seen the problem myself and tested and the switchable ammunition mod is also not working for the original Necrofex Colossus. I think I need to remove that feature altogether as it's not working any longer.

Sgt. Walker mentioned this earlier in the comments, but him and I are having issues with the Ammo selection. the mech starts with the standard shot, but once you switch to close range, you can't switch back.

For reference, I am using SFO version, will test if vanilla is the same.

I've only heard one report of it working in custom battles but not campaign, and I could never diagnose anything about that.

My bet is GW mentioned it (mostly as a joke) just because they thought Mechs were cool and a Renaissance battle mecha was a funny idea. GW thinking mechs and huge pauldrons were cool was also the inspiration for the 40K minis and universe. That's the only link as far as I know.
