My computer is broken and repair can take as many as 30 days. And even after it gets fixed, I probably will not have time.
So I can't promise it sooner than in september.
Perhaps try to ask somebody else to make it sooner?

@abdullah.m - thanks for the feedback. Updating is still WIP. I decided to release it only because it was unavailable for way too long. The currently released version still does have some files from the older version of compatch, which haven't been adapted to the recent updates in either of the mods.
I'm working as much as I can to fix everything, releasing small update-fixes every other day. Thanks for reporting all irregularities you notice!

Noticed a problem with the compatch, isolated the mods together in the order to find out what was wrong with my list, turns out that it was ME and IBL the county of tudela in Iberia which seems to have just vanished from existence, Plus few other counties have the Akan culture in Iberia and one country in cimea

Hey don't worry, of course it make fully sense to wait how roads of power will be before bothering uptading the mods more, i tried to play with few times despite it wasn't uptated and it seemed to work alright as far as i knew :)

@John-Lennin oh, I'm terribly sorry for a shamefully late answer.
This compatch wasn't updated for 1.12.5. because as far as I was concerned, the 1.12.5 version didn't require special update.
Although OTOH, the compatch does need some opdates to reflect the changes in ME in last few months, but I didn't have capacities for that and now basically all modders are waiting for what Roads to Power will bring and there is very little motivation to bring new updates, when we expect quite a lot of game files to change in less than a month.
But although this was valid already a month ago, it still doesn't legitimize my almost-month-long silence. Hence my sincere apology

any news considering a uptade to 1.12.5 ?

@NexusHero - apologies for a late reply. Basically the compatch fixes areas where both mods edit something in different way. Mainly in Iberia, Maghreb and Syria, where IBL adds provinces and some rulers and ME edits religion and some rulers.
If you won't use the compatch, there will be some inconsistencies with dynasty trees, some rulers might be missing and province religion and cultures will be messed in those regions

What would happen if i dont use this compatch but the other two mods?

Take your time and get to it when you can! Excited for when it's updated!

@Sledjer - thanks for reporting - I just realized that those files were remnants of some testing and other than bugging things, they had no other effect. So they were removed and updated the compatch. Everything should work just fine now.

Hey, I'm pretty sure I'm using the most updated version, but the doctrine display issue mentioned in the previous page of comments is still present for me. I checked the files, and it looks l like the files in the doctrine folder for this mod are very out of date and that's probably the cause of the problem. I saw your main mod doesn't even have a doctrine folder, so tried deleting it and the problem went away and I didn't notice any issues.

@OddBrow - anyway, it appeared, that it was easier and faster to do the update of this, so I prioritized this compatch and it is now working. Hope you will have fun with it

@OddBrow - the update is in progress, but unfortunately, it is second on my list of priorities and the first (rework of IBL to make it compatible with Rajas of Asia) is still weeks from completion.

Hey, will this be getting an update? I'm getting a CTD issue with ME, IBL, and the compatch. I tried to fix it myself and I think there's an incompatibility in the landed titles folder.

apologies I haven't been answering "lately". I understand that for most of you having no update for months means virtually dead, but still, the update will come. That said - @samuel.stewart1984 I still can't give any ETA, but I can say it will not come before ME gets updated for Legacy of Persia. At this point it makes no sense to push for updating this.

For those who are interested in explanation.
I didn't catch up with few ME updates and in the meantime, I started work necessary to allow IBL to work with Rajas of Asia.
In order to minimize future maintenance work, it means a complete rework of IBL itself. Until that is done, it made very little sense to update this compatch.

so, to answer @William - It won't break your game. But it will override the latest ME updates of characters in Maghreb area. Once again, my big apologies.... but you have my word that soon after ME will get its update for Legacy of Persia, you will get this updated as well.

@qnji_ appologies. I need to correct myself. I just managed to check those things and I was wrong - In the last update I did include some slightly edited ME files to solve some ME/IBL problem. But since then ME was updated, which I missed, and that causes the problems you are having. I made a fix for that, but....

What's worse is that I realized that the ME update essentially makes this whole compatch broken. After loading the game with or without the fix, I realized that the compatch actually doesn't solve things it is supposed to solve and (without the fix) creates other problems.

I will be busy with RL in the following days and then the game itself is about to get a major update, which will need updates of all mods, so with the fix I will wait after Tours&Tournaments and subsequent updates of both ME and IBL.

that said, I'm sorry to say, but a fix and update will take no less than two weeks

I know it's weird, but still..

Right now I checked it again, and by including these two mods together (without compatch), the dogmas are shown (after which the game crashes, which is natural).

But as soon as I turn on this compatch, the dogmas turn purple-black (and the game itself works).

If anything, I checked it in a new set, where there are only three of these mods.

@qnji_ - as for the second thing - This is a compatch for Muslim Enhancements and IBL. Which means, it is meant to be used only with BOTH of those activated. Deactivating any of them means you will have problems.
The original dogma problem I will try to investigate as soon as I have some free time and be at the computer. Sorry it is happening. TBH, I haven't ever checked things I don't modify neither in IBL nor in this compatch, so it is beyond my understanding how this could cause an error in something it doesn't touch at all.
Last thing - as you might get to test it before I will be able - have you tried to deactivate and reactivate this compatch?

Also, I can add that with the "Ibn Battuta Legacy" mod (without using Muslim Enhancements) with all the installed compath's for this mod (it seems to be all :))

If I have been playing since 867, then at first glance everything works fine, but as soon as the date reaches 874 or 876, then a crash occurs and the game crashes (

This does not happen without Ibn Battuta's Legacy.

I've been dealing with this problem for a long time. I do have a lot of other mods, but after creating a separate playset and going through one mod after another, I noticed that this problem is only due to this compatch.
Also, I created another set that only had mods: "Muslim Enhancements",
"Ibn Battuta's Legacy" and "Muslim Enhancements & Ibn Battuta's Legacy - compatch". Running them together without compatch, everything was fine (the dogmas were shown), but as soon as I turned it on, the picture from the dogmas disappeared ..

@qnji_ sorry to read that. Was this compatch the only mod you turned on before getting the problem? Because this compatch doesn't interact with dogmas, and (save for holy places) with religions at all, so my guess would be that this must be caused by some other mod you are using along it, some mod that edits religions.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to update despite the things going on right now. I tested the three together and the two alone and the canaries are Akom and Akan (default) with the patch. The rulers are both Guanche and north african pagan though. Sorry about the other comments btw

The mod has finally been updated. Sorry it took me so long - now it's finally fully compatible with Fate of Iberia as well as its ME and IBL latest updates (as of today 22/08/2022).

What is not working is the latest updates done in both mods. Basically the setup in Iberia is messed. I need several hours to do concentrated work, to check what needs to be updated and systematically do it step by step.

@DivineEnema - as explained in the comments below, I had been busy with far more important things than game modding. I understand it may be inconvenient for some mod users, but I'm not going to apologize for prioritizing people who really need me.

Things are getting better. I recently managed to take over maintenance of my main mod IBL and other compatches which were kindly maintained by fellow modders during my absence. This compatch relies only on my free time, which is still quite limited.

If anyone feels like offering hand to help, it will be greatly appreciated. There were great many changes in both IBL and ME since the last update, so it will take me some time.

There are also 2 families of Ukrainian refugees in my house, who need help, and in my work we need to work extra shifts due to the Russian invasion of a nearby country. There are more urgent things than a video game mod.
