It should work in 3.10 but unfortunately I haven't had time to properly check. But as far as I know the game shouldn't crash or have problems either.

What would really be handy is carving up "Construction Complete" into multiple categories, so I can turn off, say, "Construction Complete!" only it's some puny mining station, but keep it for, say, outposts that expand my empire and thus want me to manually direct the construction ship to further expand.

@Doomwarrior, I could look into it once I have the time. I can't promise to be too quick about it.
I'm really not sure if it's possible to integrate into the new notifications settings menu but will have a gander.

Can you add options to deactivate all kinds of notifications and only leave those pings and visuals on you really want? There is this new config menu, maybe that could be used?

It should already work on 3.6.1. I've been using it without any issues.

Soon I will push a very minor update to fix some spelling and will include the 3.6.* tag to it, but currently it also works fine.

@r0fld4nc3 Ideally both, but my main issue in play is with the NPC mercenary enclaves, especially post Great Khan, in the late mind and early end game when there usually aren't any more Marauders to hire from any way. There might well be ten or more PMCs and merc regiments in a huge map game, in theory, but finding one that's available for hire when you happen to be thinking about it - which is usually when you could really use the extra fleet presence - is currently a total crap shoot.

That's a good point too yes. I could never take a mercenary fleet yet either lol. Just to clarify, are you talking about the mercenary fleets you can hire from the NPC faction that has systems under their control or the Enclave?

I will, however, put it also on the to-do list and start looking into it! :)

Great mod, love the concept! Something that would help me is if there is any way to add a notification for mercenary availability? It can often be a struggle to find a mercenary enclave with a fleet actually available for hire when I think to check.

Hey @ClutchyMilk thank you for the kind words! It makes me really happy that you are enjoying the heightened senses it provides you! :) And you're very right, that's a really nice point you bring about the pesky wormholes.

As for a small notification to signify that you can sell an artifact, I will look into it. Will add it to my to-do list. Thank you for the suggestion!

This mod is so handy, esp for when AI starts taking systems on the other side of the map because of some BS wormhole you didn't know about and by the time you notice, they took half of your stuff there. Btw, how hard would it be for you to implement a notification that pings whenever the sell artifact option is off cooldown? (so that it's easier to constantly sell artifacts if you have a tone)

That is indeed a good suggestion. I have to look into how that could be done but I like that idea. Keep in mind it might take some time to get it through but I will try!

I mostly just asked around in the Modding Discord for Stellaris but had fantastic help from the wonderful folk at Renegades Modding Group! And the rest was a lot, I mean a lot, of just trial and error, figuring stuff out by snooping around game files at how PDX did their stuff and such.

@WP Yes! I do plan on bundling both :) I hope everyone likes how it is handled, with lore-friendly story pop-ups, however, it could also be adapted to a simple notification icon if it's too intrusive, which I don't think it is ^^

Thanks for the heads up. Currently in testing but I believe it is all good. I will, however, "re-upload" to update it to 3.4 officially, but also working on the next update which hopefully should come "soon" depending on my availability.

Please make a "Mid-game notification" and "End-game notification". And maybe a "Final Year Approaching Notification", that fires x years ahead of time.

Hey eldiabs! Glad to hear that! Yeah spamming is not too good.
I am trying to alleviate some of it as well, so in the coming update you'll only receive a notification for a station under attack if the fleet attacking it has a superior fleet power, so hopefully it can reduce some of the spam too :)

Hey thanks! Also, think I found the conflict/s. The updated planetary guns and system patrol At War mods. AI was spamming the planetary guns on all the planets instead of more useful buildings anyway so I removed it from the load order permanently. Everything is working fine now.

Hey eldiabs! Hopefully the next update helps fix that. I still haven't had anything removed from notifications, it could also be something to do with the mod load order. Again, hopefully the next update somehow fixes it, since I also changed the names of the icons to try and avoid any overlap.

Yeah no idea. Disabled this mod and notifications came back. Perhaps a conflict with another mod that pushes notifications. No worries if I'm the only one having the issue.

I've been using this mod since it came out and I have no issues with notifications from excavations or diplomacy offers tho, something else might be interfering

Seems this mod was breaking other notifications for me. In particular excavation stage (the green ones) and diplomacy offers from other nations.

I don't think you need to filter by aggression. Just fix the window that PDX hasn't created properly.

while i hate adding notification mods except for the ones that remove certain ones, its mostly because they all rarely provide much context and often times i lose track of what the hell happened. THIS might be useful for once, so I'll make an exception

Would it be possible to add a ping to the last system that was owned by an empire that just fell? Whenever I get that notification that an empire was destroyed I'm like "Where? Right next door? on the other side of the galaxy? Did they have that relic I've been eyeing?" I know just enough about stellaris modding to realize it would probably be pain to code in, but it would be really nice.

It'd be really nice to have the "zoom to system" button in the window that pops up when a Leviathan is Encountered. If it's an aggressive Leviathan then you get a separate combat notification, but not if it's that Sphere thingy. Is it called the Technosphere?
